House cat it''s interesting that you mention the introverted thing... I would say half the time I am introverted and the focus in my life is on thinking/writing and when I find time alone I feel great relief. (I know we discussed this in the MB thread) but right now I''m in a very extroverted place and being alone makes me sad and being with others energizes me. I am going to pay more attention to which phase I am in in the future and try to find coping mechanisms to deal with it - not the introversion... I can handle that just fine, but I think I am a bit inept at being extroverted lol
 
I really don''t reach out to anyone and talk about serious issues because I don''t like to talk about all the negative things going on. It''s very hard for me to hold things in and can''t vent to people that I trust. I try to change my state of mind, I go places to distract myself and try to find a solution to my problems. I am going thru a tough time right now and I have confided in my mom and that seems to help. What helps me is when I get up in the morning, I always tell myself that today will be different and everyday is a new opportunity. That seems to be helping me out right now. My daughter also cheers me up and that makes all the dark days go away too!

I isolate. I don''t call friends, family, or come on PS. If I''m REALLY blue, I''m in bed with a book or napping. It''s not healthy, but you didn''t ask about what ''should'' you do, but what do you do.
