I received my IS images and sarin report today and wanted to see what you thought. It looks like there is a bit of leakage under the table but the gemologist assured me that it had fantastic brilliance fire and scintillation. Initially I was told that diamond was 100% eye clean but when I pushed about the clarity and told them that I didn't want to see an inclusions with the naked eye at 6 inches, they came back and told me that if I knew where the inclusion was and if I looked very closely at the diamond then it was possible that I would be able to locate the inclusion. So, I guess I'm fairly satisfied with that.

So, thoughts? Too much leakage or do you think it will perform well?

It is my opinion that with any SI2 you should not look hard for the inclusions, even when eye clean

Phew! I was thinking that the white at 4 and 11 o clock might be leakage. It's funny because if someone else posted this IS I would tell them that I thought it looked great, but now that I'm looking at my own I feel like I need assurances!

I've promised myself that I won't look and then DH asked if we should take bets on how long it will take before I pull the loupe out! Honestly though, it's a bit of a concern, especially since I'm going from a VVS1 to an SI2 ! So, lots to sleep on tonight! Thanks Dreamer!

Yikes, VVS to SI2? Are you sure you can handle the mind-clean aspect of that, Christina? I'd be careful because JA doesn't have an easy trade-in policy do they?

But I agree that the IS is fine. They can show a little leakage in the IS and not show a thing in real life!
