I rarely post but have followed these forums for years. Over the past year I became obsessed with all the lovely micropave bands, but couldn't rationalize buying one new. Then I got to thinking... I had a .58 ctw channel set eternity diamond band in platinum that was too small. My thought was to use the stones to create a new band, but I figured it wouldn't be cost effective. I did some research and contacted David Klass, hoping he could do this, but figuring the price might be near to what a new band would cost to make any sense. To my delight, his quote was within what I was willing to spend, and boy did he deliver! He took apart my old ring, replaced a few of the chipped diamonds (work not in the original quote, but he did not charge me extra) added one new stone, credited me for the scrap platinum, and set them all in a lovely 18k rose gold ring. I am in love! The micropave work is beautiful! David was so pleasant to work with. He was very responsive and would not accept any payment until the ring was completed and I approved the photos. I received the ring this week and it is perfect. Delicate, sparkly, and perfect to wear alone or stack. I will use David again in a heartbeat!

Here are his photos

Some hand shots with Klass's beautiful leather ring box and stacked with my 5 stone ring and rose gold band.
For those that like specs: .60 ctw F/G stones in 18k rose gold. He did not tell me the width, but it is very close to 2mm.

Thank you all! I must say that little ring packs a lot of sparkle, and I am loving the touch of rose gold. 18k is so yummy :)

Dismom3: My 5 stone was done by Brian Gavin. It's 2.10 ctw, all GIA cert XXX stones, platinum. Its my engagement ring. Great to wear alone or stacked with one or two bands.
