Hey all! Just a question for you experts. I have a 1.8 carat ring and was wondering if I can purchase a 2+ carat and have it added to my current setting, or do I have to buy a new setting?

Any thoughts are greatly appreciated!

Depends on whether the head of the current ring is big enough to handle the larger diameter stone.

Yeah, diameter matters more than carat weight. You would have to have a jeweler look at it to know for sure.
