I took this photo with my iphone at a local jewelery store using their Tolkowsky scope (please excuse poor photography, I didn't even have the stone centered perfectly). I'm assuming this scope is the same as an ideal scope, please correct me if I'm wrong, but please give opinions on the image!!
not exactly the same, i do believe this just shows the hearts and arrows, not the actually light performance itself. What are the specs of that stone? Size price specs....

ditto- thats a hearts and arrows viewer, not an idealscope. I have seen H/A viewers at Jewelry stores, but I have yet to find one with an IS. You can purchase one for around $30 yourself and carry it with you.
The hearts and arrows viewer doesn't show light leakage which is what you want to know. Jewelers won't have those on hand because they probably sell lots of stones with leakage! The PS vendors for the most part know we demand the images, so most of them provide them.
