Brand new here.. 1st post (be gentle).
I get a bot obsessed whenever I have to make a big purchase, so I always research too much and shoot for perfection. I could not find any stones that I loved, so I worked with a jeweler to purchase a rough and have it cut.
It ended up being 3.3ct, H, SI1. perfectly square at 8.57 x 8.57 x 5.71 (which is what I wanted).
The SI1 rating was due to a small cavity in the crown corner, which will be covered by the prongs when it is set anyway.
It's still being set now in the design below. Hopefully ready next week for the big day!
How did I do? Also, I would be curious to know what you think a fair price for this would be...
