I just started using this moisturizer Sunday: Patricia Wexler M.D. Dermatology Acnescription™ Oil-Free Hydrator SPF 30 for Acne. This morning I noticed I had a slight rash on my cheeks and chest, but not anywhere else it was applied (forehead, neck, etc). And it only showed up today.

I''ve never had a lotion give me a rash before, could it be from that? I have sucky oily/sensitive skin, and really want this moisturizer to be a miracle worker!

I have very sensitive skin and can''t use a lot of moisturizers, it''s probably from the SPF ingredient...I''ve had major problems with that in the past and now use the mineral powder makeup with SPF instead. I use ''Aubrey Organics'' moisturizer and it works great..they have a full product line for all skin types, great for sensitive skin and they are affordable too...good luck!

Hmmm the high SPF could be the issue, I didn''t think of that! Would it be odd to have a reaction to SPF 30 and not SPF 15 (old moisturizer) or 20 (my makeup)?

Could just be the combination of ingredients that product, maybe it's too strong for your skin? I found the SPF's in moisturizers commonly made my skin feel burned...and I also break out from several ingredients in most commercial products. Aubrey has all natural ingredients and my skin has never looked better, I've used it for about 3 years now...I get compliments on my complexion all the time (not bad for a 41 year old woman!)...I swear by their products. They have online ordering and links to local stores if you want to buy it locally. It's usually sold in health food stores, that's where I get mine. And it lasts a long time too! After many years of trial and error, this is the best product for me...which is why I am passionate about it, LOL!!! It may work for you too.

Sounds intriguing! At what stores can you buy the products?

Do an online search for the ''Aubrey Organic''s'' website,(not sure if I can post an outside website address here?!) they sell it directly from their site, but I think they have a search feature on their site, where you can find a local dealer. If not, do you have any health food/vitamin stores near you? If so, call and ask if they carry Aubrey products...that''s how I found it locally.

I was on their site and didn''t see the store locater, there''s a retailer right by me! Yay! I''ll check it out, but hopefully I can return this stuff...if that''s what the rash is even from! It was expensive.

I hope you can return that other stuff...just tell them it made your skin burn! And I hope you can find some Aubrey too! If they don''t carry it, ask if they can try it out and maybe order it for you? Good Luck!

EDTA in any of its forms in a product will give me a rash.

A new day, and I''m no longer sure it''s the moisturizer causing it. It''s now spread to the backs of my hands. I give up.
