Hi Guys,

Apart from Lapigems, are there any other similar level online dealers?

Cheers,

OP, no one is replying because 'investment grade tanzanite' is usually a tv shill aimed to exploit consumers.

If we were to rephrase: what vendors would people recommend if one were interested in top quality Tanzanite? I personally love it, but am not aware of any reputable online vendors, and it's too expensive to take a chance.

If you go thru the vendors list some have tanzanite in their inventory I just don't know of any that carry a large inventory. I have bupassed some excellent stones while looking for other varieties.

You could contact Paraiba International. They usually have quite a few listed on their website. They have a good return policy.

I think that the point the above posters are trying to make is that you will be lucky to recoup what you paid when you resell. This is because tanzanite is abundent (usually gems are a comodity because the supply is restricted for some reason or other making them rare, i.e. see http://cecileraleydesigns.blogspot.sg/2016/06/what-makes-rare-gems-rare.html?m=1).

Furthermore tanzanite is very soft and damages extremely quickly, this will effect the resale vlaue of preloved items, see
https://www.pricescope.com/communit...ecisive-factors.176872/#post-3220969#p3220969.

If you would like to buy a piece of tanzanite for the joy of wearing it. Then paraibainternational has a large inventory, there is a beautiful high end ring on jewels by grace at the moment (sorry typing phone otherwise i would find the link for you). But as an investiment stone it may not be your best choice.
