He's one of ours... or we are his?
This is one of his favorite things to do so I just HAD to take a picture that day. If you don't hold it up for him he'll just sit on the book instead
Usually we put the book down and just pet him, but DH tried to read around him... then fell asleep. I walked out to find DH sleeping with Sven intently staring at the pages of the book

No picture (I was too busy catching cats!) but funny story --
We finished dinner and I walked away from the kitchen for about 10 minutes. When I came back to put the dinner leftovers away, there was Buddy (our black cat) sitting on top of the big kitty post staring at the kitchen door with huge eyes and Millie (our little black dog) with her "OOOOOo! I'm going to tell!" look on her face. Uh-oh.
Sven (the big fluffy one) was draped across the couch so I know it has to be one of the other two cats...
Sure enough... There was Lily (our gray kitty -- and the oldest of the group) on the stove eating our dinner out of the pan! Keep in mind, this cat claims to be a vegetarian. She won't eat any meat we give her except her kitty food. She'll happily take lettuce or parsley but never meat. But meat on the COUNTERTOP is okay
She grabbed the biggest chunk she could carry and ran through the house to try to eat it before I could take it. So there is this little gray cat (with the huge Hallmark eyes) running with a chunk of meat around and under furniture while I chase her with the stack of mail I'd had in my hand when I walked in

I loved this video. I saw the other one first, but the kitten didn't "speak" and neither did you. When I watched this one, I was enchanted to hear your interchange. I loved his little vocalization and your voice really surprised me with its sweetness! Wow!

Thanks Deb. I am completely smitten with Atticus. He is a sponge for affection and he loves to talk. We are having some great conversations as we get to know one another. He's been here 5 days and completely owns us.

Taji says "mama"
Been trying to get this on video since I taught him to say it when he was a kitten. You can hear it twice near the end when he's on camera and once again as I shut it off.

The yellow lab belonged to our neighbor. She has gone to live on a big farm.
The sweet white dog also was our neighbor's. She had to be put to sleep last month
They loved to come play with our dogs. Oh... Bailey is standing on a chair (balanced on all fours) to look through that window

Well...... Apart from them both being terrified of their own shadows. And Gracie throwing her food up when she is stressed. Oh, and Blossom's anal sac issues ..... Yep they are angels
