Sigh. Yeah, they're wondering what happens if they unscrew the hingey things. Just like a cat -- spend time and money building shelves and walkways and they're interested in the brackets. No wonder I drink.

It isn't any different with kids...you buy them coveted toys and they play in the packaging/cardboard boxes. IMHO is isn't money badly spent.

howsoeverthatmaybetrue......I make no excuses for my ETOH consumption!

OMG! That dog!

Matata..so funny about the daycare..at Christmas we kept kiki in our bedroom and half of the upstairs while we had houseful (he had pancreatitis last year and has lingering issues) and I said it looked like a daycare in there.. toys, beds, down throws. I have to admit that the rest of my house is a little nuts too!

Thank you! She is a 6 month old border collie. Both her parents were 'merle' in color hence the white and blue eyes.

Thank you! She is a 6 month old border collie. Both her parents were 'merle' in color hence the white and blue eyes.

She is super cute! Phinney is 25% border collie too (and 12.5% fox terrier, 12.5% "other" terrier group, 12.5% chow, and 37.5% "mixed breed").

He's been blind since around the time he opened his eyes. His mother was a sick stray that the SPCA took in. The whole litter was in sad shape and one kitten didn't make it. I took T.C. and his brother Peter. Peter has asthma, which I didn't realize till after I adopted him. So I think the whole litter had some health issues. But T.C. gets around really well. And Peter is fine as long as he uses his inhaler once a day.

Something kind of bizzare, T.C. is the alpha cat. Why the cats decided to make the skinny blind cat alpha I have no idea. How do cats and dogs figure these things out?

This was my last attempt at dressing one of my cats. He's wearing a costume owned by my mother in laws dog. As soon as a put it on him he plopped down on his side and stayed that way. So I took it off.

Kitty on strike. Love it.

How can you get up when they are that cuddly? I would be so climbing back in with them.

They do! Livi, the one in the pink blanket, is like a big teddy bear. She tolerates all kinds of nonsense from Emma. It's only when Emma gets angry when a fight breaks out. But most of the time livi just backs away. Even though we all know that if livi really wanted to, she could beat Emma up. Livi is about 60 pounds and Emma is only 35. She was the runt of the litter.

Thanks innerkitten. They are not blood siblings but act like human siblings when it comes to vying for my attention and when (not) sharing toys. I imagine their kitty voices -- he took my ball; no it's my ball; I had it first; MOM!!
