Interesting article. Wondering what PSers think of it. Personally, I can't even keep my nails painted, so I'd never shell out for plastic surgery on my hands.

If you dwell on the fact I have old hands when I get my e-ring next month....pfffft, hand in your PS Card. A true PS'er will hone in on the size, proportion, stats and rock to finger ratio and cut, etc.

If you pick your ring well enough, no one will remember what your hand looked like.

You'd be surprised at what people notice. I posted a picture of my oec (my friends like to see my latest ebay deals so it's not a show-off type situation), and the first thing a guy friend said was, "wow, your fingers are so wrinkly."

The only thing I was worried about with my hands was the atrocious quality of my nails. Slapped some paint on those babies and we were good to go. $3 not $1000

Nah, he's known for being blunt with no filters, so it was funny to me because I knew he would point it out. I wasn't offended. My hands were extremely dry in that picture!

Ahhh, one of those friends that are fun...and a little off the chain. I'm glad he didn't hurt your feelings...sometimes the little comments like that can stick and fester.

Orrrrr they could have just used more sunscreen and saved themselves from getting the sunspots in the first place. Sunscreen and a cheap bottle of Alpha Hydrox exfoliating lotion and you can keep your hands looking nice without $3k of plastic surgery on them...

Or you could just accept that hands get used for a lot of stuff and sometimes look a little beat up.
