Radiants seem to be cheaper than princess cuts?

After a lot or looking around, radiant cut diamonds are seeming cheaper than princess cuts of similar stats. Does anyone know why? Are they less desirable?

Yup, less popular. Princesses and rounds are the most popular, and the most expensive.

Actually, well cut radiant cuts are both in demand, and will have similar prices.
To answer specifically we'd need more info about the stones and prices that you saw

Many people prefer the facet pattern of a radiant cut- and the clipped corners are less risky to set as compared to princess

Remember to look at the carat weight with the dimensions, spread, to compare prices. Different cuts will automatiacally face up larger or smaller which can affect the price they'll sell for.
