I love radiant shape diamonds!!!!
But someone tole me that the slightest bit of color is VERY detectable in radiant cut diamonds.
Just wondering if anyone had pictures/stories/advice.

Thanks! :)

yes radiants can show warmth. for me, (i am color sensative) G, or possibly a high H is as high as I would go.

having said that, that does not mean you can''t find one that shows up really white in a lower grade. a little flouro, a great cut, etc..

if you have read up on them, then you also know you MUST see them to be able to jugde them. can''t go by the paper at all.

Good luck...

ONE of the reasons the majority of fancy colored Diamonds are a Radiant Type Cut.

I have a rectangular radiant and when I was looking for it I could definitely see color in them easily. In fact, I could even tell the difference between a D, E and F. I bought an F. I definitely could really see color starting at G so those were out for me.

I have a pendant and earrings that are round. Earrings are F and pendant is G and they are super white...whiter looking than my radiant stone. They are ACA from Whiteflash.

I had the experience of viewing radiant, asscher, emerald and princess cut, honestly i really prefer radiant cos somehow u really can see the facets dacing in the light.when u are selecting fancy cut, u are really buying the art of cut itself cos u appreciate the beauty that u seek...

Radiants definitely show more color than rounds, but I''m not sure it''s a really *drastic* difference. I have an F colored radiant and I still think it looks icey white and completely clear. I''ve compared it to well-cut rounds and it faces up in near an H. I would be comfortable with a radiant H color, but beyound that they are too warm for me.
