Hi there, I am new here and find this to be a very informative site.

We are looking for a largish Radiant in the 3 Carat range. I see very few that meet the often-suggested mid 60''s proportion criteria for table and depth.

This described stone seems to be a decent compromise in size and value with the VS2 H color etc, but I wonder about the proportions..?

We are looking at the following stone and wonder what the thoughts and value might be:

Shape Radiant

Report GIA

Carat Weight 3.14

Clarity Grade VS2

Color Grade H

Measurements

Length-to-Width 9.17 x 7.60 x 5.37

Proportions

Depth 70.7

Table 60

Girdle TN-

Culet NON

Finish

Polish EX

Symmetry G

Fluorescence MB

What do you folks think?

I am also wondering if the Flourescence is a problem with an H color?

Thanks for any input and suggestions!!

any help here?

One of the posters here Dave Atlas is an independent appraiser he posts under the name Oldminer. Old mine cut diamonds are similar to cushion cuts which you posted about before so he may know more about your questions on cushion.

Regarding the rectangular radiant he has on his site a fancy cut shape selector and Old AGA cut grade charts for fancy cut diamonds (see the pull down section named Chart under Old AGA cut grades for looking up the shape you require).

His business also issues lab certficates for his lab AGA.

His site is www.gemappraisers.com
