radiant cuts

Am considering two radiants: first is 2.05 carat, 68.6% depth, 73% table, girdle thick, culet none, good polish, good symmetry, F SI1, no fluroescence. 7.56 x 6.76 x 4.64 mm. Price is $19,000.Second is 2.02 carat, 69.4% depth, 72% table, thin to medium girdle, no culet, very good polish, good symmetry, F VS1, no fluorescence. 7.3 x 7.06 x 4.9 mm. Price is $21,000. Kinda like this one because it's a little more square. Both are GIA cert. Both gorgeous. I wonder if they're overpriced. Have had VERY HARD time finding radiants with lower table percentages. Do they exist?Anniversary approaching. Help!

Hi Dickgeorge,Well, perhaps you've already noticed that Internet prices are lower. For example this diamond from Blue Nile (see below) is close to your second one and costs $17,400. I.e. some 20% difference. 2.03 F VS1 D=68.9% T=66% GIA Grdl=med-sl thk http://www.bluenile.com/DETAILS.ASP?PID=LD00706024 If you don't mind buying via the 'net you can make a search on this site for radiants with table and depth less than 70% - there are a few diamonds out there.Since you are going to spend that much money, you also might want to consider to send the diamond to independent expert like David Atlas, AGA, www.gemappraisers.com.

Now I'm looking at your first diamond specs.You can find for example this stone listed in the web:2.04 F SI1 68.5% 70% GIA tck 7.29 X 7.07 X 4
$12418$6.5k difference - more than 30%... looks a bit too much.
