(sorry, i posted this in "show me the ring" by mistake)
Has anyone gone to Radiantcut.com?
I was trying to get more information on Radiant Cuts and this site came up. Is this the ideal specs on the cut?

Henry Grossbard is the originator of the Radiant cut (late 1970's) the website you refer to is his website. As the originator, many consider his specs to be the "ideal" in a radiant cut. The name brand comes at a premium (read $$$). There are many generic non-name brand radiant cut diamonds out there, but they do not adhere to Grossbards strict cut peramiters so their quality is very difficult to discern. It is possible to find a generic radiant that is just as beautiful as the name branded "Original Radiant Cut", but much more difficult for the uneducated buyer to find. Some prefer to pay the premium and buy the name brand because they feel that is a superior cut and saves them the headache of trying to figure it out. I happen to have three generic radiant cuts that I just love. It wasn't easy finding them though and it took many trips back and forth to find exactly the right three!

Do a search on radiant, Grossbard and original radiant cut on this forum. There is much discussion on the topic.

Radiants are unique and beautiful stones that need to be appreciated with the eye and the numbers on paper are just the starting point.

Good luck to you.
