Radiant Cut Diamond- What do you think?

I'm not loving it, what's your budget? And does it have to be a gradient? Or does she just like the long shape? Why did you pick that one specifically?

I want to stay within $950 for the stone. Yes a rectangular stone is preferred and with faceting (not like an emerald), I chose this one because of the shape and it looks clean. I want to stay within a similar size range as the measurements not exactly the carat weight if that makes sense.

it's pretty ugly. I know this one is a bit over, but JA does offer PS members a discount on their diamonds so I'd find out how much they'd give this stone to you for:

That's a nice stone. Can you maybe suggest one that is lower in price? I have no room to go higher in the budget even if it was just $100 more. It's fine if it's a bit smaller but not too drastic.

Well rats they have nice emerald cuts in your ratio and budget, and gradients that's square, but no good long gradients. Shoot

I like the facets in that radiant you found but it's a bit more square then I would like.
Those cushions are nice too. I like the 2nd one.

I would maybe even consider an oval if I found a nice enough one. But I would prefer the radiant over the cushion. I like the clipped corners.

This is a little out of the box, but sense you like length and more unique shapes had you considered pears or marquise? Very large for the ct plus they are a neat shape and hide inclusions well

Here's one I found, smaller but would leave you room for a nice setting
. How were you setting it.

That is pretty but definitely too small. It will be a classic solitaire. I have considered marquise before but I'm not sure about it. I really like them but since they are kind of "out there" (as in pointy) I'm afraid I will get bored.
But no pear? I think if you like them its a great idea to look into marquise. You could always set it e/w or something different

They are nice but not sure that's the look I want to go for. Also my husband happens to dislike pears a lot.

Can you help me find a cushion under $700 that's decent and will have good flash? I might be able to find a nice setting and call it a day.

Anyone else?

Thank you I'll take a look at those.. :wink2:

I guess I am the only one but I like the first Radiant you asked about. I think it gives you the biggest bang for your buck. Maybe i am just more partial tho radiant stones. :praise: Can you have it shipped to you to see if your like it in person??

I am also very partial to radiant stones! The problem is the one I have has a similar cut and there is some sparkle lost within the stone. I'm having a hard time finding a good rectangular radiant! I don't know if I should try that one out because it looks similar to the one I have I'm not sure if it's the cut or what.

Some of those I like.

Which were the nicely cut square radiants you mentioned before?

im partial to larger faceted radiants, sense i know thats not your cup of tea, there wasnt a few, but i think this one would be nice

i was thinking, if you cant find a large enough radiant you like, if you find a smaller one that save you a few hundred, you could set in a baze, it would make it look larger, and would conserve that corner shape you love

What a nice setting. Too bad it looks like they can only set a .75 stone and up in it 8)

They are loose with those guidelines, I'd definitively ask if it could be done for your stone if you like it
