I have 2 quick questions about whiteflash...

1) It says the purchase price of an ACA includes appraisal from an independent Houston appraiser... is this sufficient (for peace of mind and insurance purposes), or should I really be going to another appraiser once I get the stone?

2) I might be blind, but I didn''t see anything about their return policy, does anybody know what it is offhand?

Thanks!

Wow I''m absent-minded... forgot the most important question:

3) Do they offer any type of financing? Where can I find information on this?

WF return policy

I didn''t get a further appraisal for my diamond. I suppose its up to you if you do. I don''t think there is a need for a second one.

For insurance purposes I used the sales receipt since I don''t want to pay insurance on an appraisal price, I want to pay insurance on a replacement price. I personally would trust WF and the appraisal they give you. If I was buying something for +$20k I might get it reappraised. It depends on your comfort level.

Hi, LikeDeIce,

The letter of verification will be sufficient for insurance purposes, if you wish.

Whether or not to use an another appraiser is really individual to each person''s needs and comfort levels. Some prefer to have it; others are comfortable without it.

Maisie was kind enough to link to our return policy above, which is 10 days from receipt of the diamond.

Thanks for the info everybody! Allison (or anyone else in the know), any info on financing? I know a lot of places do like 3 or 6 month interest-free type things, but I couldn''t find anything on the website. Thanks again!

I would call them on this; I do not recall seeing anything like this. I rather save the money and then buy the stone.

We don't directly finance purchases; we aren't set up for that kind of thing.

Clients we've worked with in the past seem to find the 0-percent credit cards helpful as a financing option, if that's helpful to you.
