Questions with Pave Bands

I''ve done lots of reading up on pave bands and am hoping that you can help me answer some questions...

I''m thinking of getting a 3-sided pave band for my wedding band (like the Tiffany 3-row pave), but after reading about the risks of diamonds falling off, I''m now a bit reluctant. I can''t say I''m very delicate with my hands, although I take off my e-ring once I get home.

I want to know whether a 3-sided pave band will scratch against my e-ring if I wear them together? My e-ring is 18-karat white gold (follow link to see pictures: https://www.pricescope.com/community/threads/my-first-post.112392/)

Are there any PS vendors that have great workmanship for pave bands? I''ve read that LM does a great job, but because I live in Toronto, Canada, going to see him in person is a bit difficult.

yes, a 3 sided pave band will scratch up your e-ring. you''d be better off just doing a single row. Some folks do get a really thin spacer ring to wear in between a pave ring and their e-ring.

Is it possible to have two sided pave.. so the side that sits alongside your ering is smooth?

If I get a spacer ring, I guess it will still scratch against the pave band, but at least it''s not bad as scratching the prongs of my e-ring.

I was thinking the same thing. Do they exist?? Does anyone have any pictures of a two-sided pave? I think I came across a picture of one the other day, but can''t seem to find it anymore...

You can certainly ask for a jeweler to custom make you one. I do remember someone on here having one. I don''t recall who made it though.

Jack Kelege makes one to go with his 3 sided pave rings. Unfortunately, I do not have pictures but it does exist
