**Questions before buying**

I'm planning to buy an 18k yellow gold eternity ring with a total carat weight of .45. According to the jeweler, the ring was made in-house and (Pampillonia Jewelers in DC) and contains F-G diamonds with VS clarity. What are some things I should ask the jeweler before buying? I read that I should try to look at the ring under 30x magnification to inspect prongs, etc.

Anything else I should ask before buying?

I think it is totally sufficient to look at anything with a 10x loupe. Seeking perfection at 30x is asking for trouble, in my opinion. I guess you could ask if they used excellent cut melee, but aside from that, you need to see if the ring has the level of quality you want visually.

A good question would be, if a stone ever falls out, will they replace it for free?
