Yes, this is true.
Just be aware though that it can be difficult to find non-rhodium plated white gold (except in antique rings).
I have white gold earrings and there has been no issue there, and necklaces also get less wear and tear but honestly in the case of a ring, I''d expect to have to re-rhodium again and again and again, so I probably wouldn''t do it.
Agreed! My WG rings have to be replated at least every six months or so to stay white, even though I don''t wear them every day (they''re right-hand rings). They get yellow very easily, so I went with platinum for my wedding set. However, I do have a WG pendant, and I''ve worn it for years with no yellowing at all--maybe just a teeeeny bit on the chain.Date: 9/3/2009 6:12:53 PM

all depends on the person. I''ve always used WG and never once had an issue with yellowing or any change in color. I''ve been wearing my current set for 4 yrs now and still look brand new. I have another ring that''s WG and it''s 17 yr old...still very white
