I am happy to report that my best friend is getting engaged! I am going tomorrow with her soon to be Fiance to look at a particular diamond he''s picked out, to make sure it is okay. ( i have my eyes, trusty loupe with me, and my PS cut chart to make sure its ok).
My question is: I think the boyfriend wants to pop the stone into a very simple setting. And I know my best friend has her heart set on the Vatche x prong. Since I want to make sure she gets it, I need to direct him to the right place so he can buy the setting!
Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but since Vatche doesnt sell the settings via their website and only thru retailers, all those retailers (like Robbins Bros) will sell the setting alone, wont they? I just want to be sure I dont steer him wrong, and he has difficulty getting the setting, and just puts the stone in to any old setting.
Help! They do sell just the settings, right?
