Hello everyone I'm new to this thread. I live in eastern Arkansas and I think I have found a deposit with some rough diamonds in it. Is it true you can't test a rough diamond with a diamond tester? And if these are type 2 diamonds a diamond tester would not work with them anyway because they contain no nitrogen? What is the best way to determine if a rough Stone is a diamond or not? I've attached several pictures of the stones I've been finding any help would be greatly appreciated it seems like everyone I've talked to has completely giving me the cold shoulder these stones are extremely hard they easily scratch quartz.
