Questions about melee- specifically Gabriel & Co

I have some questions about what I should do for melee, which in this setting appear to be 3 pointers. My center stone is 1.79c and an I color. Gabriel has told me that they offer D3 melee, which is G-H in color and Si1 clarity, or D4 which is G-H in color and SI2 in clarity.

Because the color is the same, I would opt for the higher clarity melee. I asked the Gabriel rep if they offer single cut or full cut and they didn't seem to have a clue what I was talking about, so I didn't get anywhere there. Here are a few questions I have...

Will G-H be too white next to an ideal cut I color center stone of this size?

Is full cut preferred in the 3 point melee size, assuming it is cut fairly well?

If the melee in the matching band are smaller (1.3 point), would it look funny to have full cut in the engagement ring and single cut in the wedding band?

So it sounds like Gabriel only offers full cut melee, so the single cut is out of the question.

Anyone have any insight as to whether the G-H color will be too different from an I colored center stone? I want to get the best clarity melee they offer, which is the G-H in color.

I read an old thread about their melee quality which seemed to be of mixed opinions. Anyone have any more recent experience to share?
