Hi All,
I'm looking at a diamond that has a "thin to medium" girdle, but the girdle measurements on the AGS report are 0.9% to 3.5% - isn't that "extremely thin" to medium rather than "thin" to medium? Is the variation too large - for example, would 2.5% to 3.5% be better, or would a consistent girdle be better? Is this a bad measurement that I should be concerned about? How do girdle measurements affect the optical performance of a rbc?
Description:
Shape: Round
Carat weight: 1.053
Cut: Hearts & Arrows Ideal AGS 0
Color: G
Clarity: VS1
Certificate: AGS
Depth: 61.0%
Table: 56.1%
Polish: Ideal
Symmetry: Ideal
Girdle: Thin to medium faceted
Culet: None
Flourescence: None
Measurements: 6.56*6.61*4.02
Crown Angle: 33.9
Crown %: 14.70
Pavilion Angle: 40.9
Pavilion %: 43.10
Thanks for your help
