Hi guys,

Just wondering... a wedding band is suppose to fit flush right next to the matching engagement ring so that there are no gaps, correct?

My fiance has this engagement ring: http://www.jamesallen.com/engagement-rings/pave/18k-White-Gold-2-6mm-Six-Prong-Pave-Set-Ring.html

And this is the matching wedding band: http://www.jamesallen.com/wedding-and-anniversary/womens-wedding-rings/ring/item_63-3670.asp

However, it doesn''t seem like it will sit flush on because the diamond basket is slightly raised.. will this look bad? Do I need something that is curved to sort of cup the basket?

Many ring styles will have gaps. It''s normal. You CAN get a curved band which will sit flush but I personally don''t like them because they look weird when they are worn alone. I say embrace the gap! (Or at least ask your FI what she prefers!)

I second! Do you think she could be ok with the small gap? For me, it''d drive me batty, but that''s why I specifically got a cathedral setting. See which one she prefers. To balance it out, if she gets a curved band, see what 2 curved bands would do for her ring? She may like that look better.
