I have one band with many small diamonds in it.
When noticing the light from it on the wall, most are white/colorless, but I do notice a few rainbows?
these are only pin sized, but I can see the color on the wall.

I am not sure if it is common or acceptable to have both types from the same ring, if, in fact they are all diamonds. Is it?

do you not like rainbows?

good diamonds display a mixture of both.

Yes, well cut diamonds show a mix of white light and fire ( coloured light) which is a very desirable feature!
 
Yeah, thats awesome.

Its fun to pick out the table reflection and then look at all of the other little ones around it on larger diamonds...
