Struggling to find a quality diamond for an engagement ring. Band will be four prong, with a smaller stone on either side. Can use help. Is this princess cut diamond a good buy at a cost of $10,800?
Any recommendations to find smaller stones to match?
GIA report indicates:

Depth 70.6%
Table 72%
Girdle - Medium to Sl. Thick
Culet None
Polish - Excell.

Clarity - VS2
Color - F
Flour - None

I wish there was some info on this stone's optics... otherwise the info available sounds tempting. I do like them with smaller tables, but it is your choice, of course. An example would be THIS E-VS1 (it does have the about the same size as yours although lighter - given the smaller total depth).

Not sure what kind of sides you are looking for (grades, size...). Not too many sites posts pairs of matches sidestones - and these must be more precisely matched than the average pair of earrings

Here's the exception (LINK) - and hence my choice of site.

There are quite a few smaller stones among their 'signature prnesses' that you might find ok for sides - according to this 0.2 post.

There are plenty of other sellers with just as great reputation here - this is just one example (easier to browse one site than 10

Thanks very much for your advice. I needed the reassurance.
