I am considering a stuller setting (for a 1.63ct. F VS1) and wondering if anyone has had any experience with this brand. In particular I am interested in your thoughts on quality - I realize these settings are mass produced. Unfortunately, I have not been able to see this setting (or any by this manufacturer) in person.

I have included photos (if interested).

I thank you in advance for your time!

I don't know anything about them.. but that is a beautiful setting...

I've never heard anything about the quality of their pave. They are known for their simple and inexpensive 4 and 6 prong solitaire settings, mostly, and those are good quality.

Their website is HUGE. It's not a retail site. I've ordered several settings through jewelers from them and I like their quality, but they were just gold settings with no pave. If you look around their site, they have almost every style imaginable from out-of-style to current trends.

Just about every jeweler can get in Stuller rings. I'd check with the one you would buy from and see if they have any experience with that setting or with any of their page settings. I haven't seen on in person or know of anyway who has one to be able to attest to quality or how it stands up to daily wear but the jeweler should be able to provide that info for you.

Thank you!

I would prefer a thinner band so think I may end up going with a custom setting.

Thanks again!

I've had 2 different stiller settings for my pear diamond. One was a solitaire ring, the other a pendant. They have both been very nice, however, neither have any pave.

Mrs. W 514 that is a beautiful setting! Thank you! I will contact LM.

Stuller is the biggest supplier in the American market. As mentioned above, nearly every jeweler in the country deals with them in one way or another. Go into nearly any independent jeweler in the US and you can probably see a sample of something they've made. It's a fine outfit. Things are well made, they use good materials and they deliver quickly. Those are all good things but, as you point out, it is production work and whether that's for you depends on what your requirements are.

Stuller has a ton of offerings...

I have owned several items made by them and not one was a problem, though I never owned anything pave from them nor did I ever own anything that came already with diamonds.
