I have this stone reserved on your site, but I''m a little hesitant over the needle being so close to the girdle. Will this effect the strength of the stone? What other issues may this cause, if any? Thanks in advance.

TW, I would give them a call, chances are you''ll get this answered a lot quicker.

Thanks for the response, but they''re closed on Sunday''s and Monday''s and I was getting a little antsy.

Hi Twister,

Just got home and was reading a bit here and caught your question. It appears to be a feather towards the pavilion side. When we do our clarity checks we make sure that feathers aren''t reaching the surface and are open (ie succeptible to chipping). Looking at the plot it is also colored in red indicating an internal feather. With an AGS graded VS2 you should be just fine. If you drop me a buzz tomorrow when I get up to the store I''ll confirm with a visual as well for ya.

Kind regards,

Thanks for your reply Rhino, I will call you tomorrow.
