I was trying to find out the specs for your pear. I can''t find any posts on it. Would you mind telling me what the specs are on that gorgeous, icy white pear? And what made you choose a pear. I know they were popular during the 70''s....but we won''t discuss my age right now....

My report''s in a safety deposit box so I can''t remember the details! I might have some written down at work somewhere, I will check. That would be sacrilege to a rb owner, I know.

It is a D, VS2, 1.5 ct, and geez...the l to w is about 1.5. It is overly deep actually, that I remember! I bought it before my PS days.

My mom''s ering is a pear (they got engaged in 1968 or 69) and I have always just adored it. I love how they face up big for their ctw which is good cuz I don''t have teeny tiny fingers, so the shape works well on my hand. I love the sparkle of a gorgeous round and someday would like to own one in addition

but I have always just wanted something ''different'' and the pear really calls to me. Every time I see one my breath catches. It doesn''t hurt that they are priced cheaper than rounds either.

Thank you. I too love a pear, but went with a cushion up-grade. I still want a pear though. Gotta work on hubby on that....

That''s cool that you always liked your mother''s e-ring. I too always love my mother''s e-ring. I actually have it in a reset. She got re-married with, of all shapes, a marquise. My step-father picked it out for her.
