It''s one or more inclusions reflecting around. You wouldn''t see that in real life. And in fact, you might not see anything in real life, these pics are hugely magnified. But you do need to ask if it''s eye clean.Date: 8/14/2008 5:23:47 PM

I was considering this stone, can you tell me what you think? Why does the hearts pic have all those dots/lines in it? Are those inclusions or the way the stone was cut? I don''t notice that on higher clarity stones.
Thanks!

It''s very a nice stone. Great size!
Many people prefer the "pedigree" of a stone from the top two labs. However, there are nice stones to be had from other labs, it''s just more hit and miss. I would personally have no problem with this stone, because I know Jon hand picks his stones. He ran all the tests on it, and feels it''s worthy of being carried. And, he gives it his lifetime guarantee, which means he will take it back on a trade in anytime. That''s enough for me, besides the fact that it looks very nice.Date: 8/14/2008 8:40:59 PM

I believe she said it was eye clean. Does it matter that the cert. is from EGL? I thought GIA and AGS were the best ones.
