Hello,

Do you think this looks like and I VS2? I didn't think it did but I thought I would check with the experts!

I can't tell about clarity. And color is hard to judge from photos. But no, I would say it's warmer than I color. Probably closer to L.

I see an I-J. I think this diamond is a beauty!

Can't tell bubkiss from photos on either count.

Ask if it has a bearded girdle that could explain the grey smudgy marks in the second photo around the table area.

That eye is spooky.

It's a beautiful ring regardless of the color! I pretty much always assume colors are optimistically stated when the stones don't have a GIA cert. But I don't mind a little color in antique stones.

Ditto. I think it's lovely. What is the asking price and what is the carat size and spread.

double post.

Wanted to add it looks warmer than I in the video, but very lovely.

I found the listing for the stone. 8mm spread and approx 58% depth for a little over $10k. I think the price is steep for what you *can* find out there, but not astronomical. Here is a comp on ebay for ct. weight, stated lower in color and clarity but who the heck knows what the one you are considering *really* is http://www.ebay.com/itm/300613563494?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649 . I would recommend an appraisal within the return period by a highly qualified appraiser to make sure you are paying a fair price.

Ditto.

And my comment was not about feathers per se. Bearding is when the girdle of a diamond is scratched, basically, over time and age and it can reflect into the stone and cause a hazy look. In the photo below there is some haze perhaps in the areas I marked in red. Something to check with your appraiser if you choose to see the stone in person.
