Hey folks.

Just a quick question: how significant do you think the inclusion is in the center of the E VS1 linked below?

The diamond.

An idealscope image and close-up is available at the link.

Thanks for your expertise and insight.

I wouldn''t worry about an inclusion on an AGS graded VS1.

ditto what Pixley said.

On the other hand...this is the first time I''ve looked recently at the James Allen presentation from viewers of Pricescope...where they have info about their services. Jim''s captured much of the dialog he and I had about a year ago. Much of it may be reasonable...except the part about the H&A images. Kristan...you weren''t even asking about this...but...though I copy this text from Jim''s site:

"Why don''t you provide "hearts" and "arrows" images of your Hearts & Arrows diamonds?
The image doesn''t make the diamond H&A - it is the stringent set of standards that are used to evaluate each diamond that should be the true judge of whether or not a vendor is selling "real" hearts and arrows or just mediocre attempts. The diamonds we list in our Hearts & Arrows Collection are evaluated by one of our in-house Graduate Gemologists to ensure that every single diamond represented as H&A is the "real deal". Combine our conservative grading standards with the simple fact that our H&A diamonds are up to 20% less than the competition and you''ve created what I believe to be the best value in superideal diamonds anywhere."

This does not prove out. Though WF has a reputation for being credible in this area, they provided these images over time anyway. JA should not try to represent with these words that they have done what a picture can confirm...if they are trying to represent this feature with their words. Just my feeling. Of course...the H&A may be perfect..or you may not care.

Regards,
