highley included stone, I know, it's not mine I just saw this picture passing by and I wonder what the big inclusion is going all the way over the stone. Is this liquid silk? Or a crack?

Looks like an internal fissure, or it could be discolored resin.

Silk is microscopic inclusions that give the stone a sleepy look. It is usually rather even and does not apply to any emerald I've seen, mostly sapphires and spinels, sometimes demantoids.

have to loupe it for sure.

Inclusions in emerald are usually called “jardin” and is found in nearly all Emeralds. It’s also why Emeralds are more prone to breaking apart.
That emerald has surface reaching fissure which aren’t uncommon and it’s how the resin or oil is introduced to the gem to improve clarity. It looks “stained” possibly natural ie wth iron impurities seeping in. Either that or the filler has deteriorated badly.
That fissure is to my eye just one bump away from splitting the emerald into two pieces.
