I''ve been reading the site and learning about how the H&A is "more ideal" than an "ideal" cut round brilliant.

Given the rest of the C''s are equal, can a layman really tell the difference (in terms of brilliance/sparkle) with the naked eye between the H&A and standard ideal cut?

Thanks in advance!!

can you tell the difference between diet dr. pepper and regular dr. pepper?

okay, that has nothing to do with anything. it''s just that reading your post made me think of it.

anyway...to answer your question...

in short, if you are looking at them in the jewelry store, no. they will both be very brilliant and sparkly. however, ideal h&a stones are cut to maximize light return over a wide range of lighting conditions. i have never seen scintillation such as that in an h&a when viewed in filtered light conditions.
