I am looking for a RB in the 1.00-1.50 range with a budget of around 6000.

Narrowing down stones, I have found ERD''s list to be extremely large. Are these virtual stones?

What is the process with virtual stones, if so with ERD and also WF?? Do you recommend staying out of this market and relying on in house?

Thanks in advance!

Welcome to PS. The in house makes it easy because they can nice stones (like WF ACA selection), selected, with Idealscopes, Sarin, etc, pics. You could email or call ERD and see what they say or let them know what you are looking for.

Thanks Skippy. I will do that tomorrow. Is ERD mostly a place for PS''ers go for settings or diamonds?

You are welcome, they have both diamonds and settings. We can help you search too if you like if you give us a budget, color and clarity.

Thanks so much! I am a long time lurker-- but decided to break the silence and start asking some questions. I have been working with Jamie at WF for a couple days. She is so wonderful and has really given me wonderful service so far! I am just trying now to expand my search, to make sure my fiance are not missing anything.

Just got engaged, bf proposed with a beautiful diamond from BN, but after looking into getting another setting, there were some questions raised about the diamond itself and how excellent the cut actually was. So after some soul searching and talking, we sent the stone back in and have decided to look elsewhere.. but keeping options open.

So.. budget is at around between 5500-6300 for the stone. RB, AGS0 would be wonderful, not concerned with brand name ACA or other, or GIA excellent if inspected, then size-- would really love something around 1.25

but anything between 1-1.5(

), Eyeclean white and sparkly is all that I care about with color and clarity. Open to GHIJ/SI1/SI2.

Thanks in advance, I really appreciate all the knowledge and helpfulness on PS!!!!

Hi there! Did you see this one from WF?

ERD is in a rather unique position compared to the other well known PS vendors.
He is located right in the diamond district of NY.
When someone is looking for something he can often walk across the street and view it and if it passes his inspection bring it in to pass the information on to the buyer.
Where other vendors have to deal with shipping diamonds around the country.
Therefore he can more efficiently deal with virtual stones than most and having something in stock is less of an issue.
Most people that work with them contact them with what they want and he hunts it down and brings it in for pictures and comparisons.

Wow, incredible information!!

Thank you thank you!

I will try contacting him today!
