So I''ve been reading some posts and the FAQ and I am beginning to understand some things, but I thought I would post one diamond I was looking at and get some feedback to point me in the right direction. Quality is important but so is size, so I''m trying to find a good balance without blowing my budget. Here is one in particular that I thought looked pretty good, please give me some feedback or concerns that any of you might have with this one. Hopefully it''s ok to post links:

I would never buy a diamond on ebay!!! That doesn''t appear to be a real photo of the actual diamond, so you have no idea what it would actually look like. The price is very very low. Warning bells should be ringing here IMO.

If you still want to go ahead, I would at the very least request several photos.

There are a couple store names using the exact same layout for their stores, I would be very wary.

Please don''t. We''ve read too many sad tales of diamond buying on ebay. You get what you pay for...or less.

Ok that seems to be unpopular :-) Point taken. I''m comfortable with ebay so I thought I would look, but I''m also one to take advice. How about this one? It looks pretty comparable.

Are you an Aussie? Just saw those prices in Aussie dollars? Does that include GST?

Anyhoo, it could have potential, although we don''t have the crown and pavillion angle to assess how well it''s cut.

Run away as fast as you can .....................

I would never spend that kinda money on a diamond on Ebay unless (a) I knew the seller and (b) there were actual photos of the diamond available and (c) they had more feedback than 120.

Sorry, probably not want you want to hear but I''m sure you can get better (and safer) deals elsewhere.

Don''t get it from eBay. Lots of people get burned doing it that way.
