Question about Clarity

I'm attempting to buy a diamond online but I'm confused about clarity. In this diamond, for example, are the feathers, clouds, and twinning wisps problematic? Also, under the comments, it states, "additional twinning wisps and surface graining are not shown."

This is an SI1. I worry that these inclusions would impact the performance or durability of the stone. Or are they only a problem if it states that the clarity of the stone is based on clouds not shown? I hope this makes sense. Any help is appreciated! Feeling overwhelmed!

For feather inclusion, do ensure that it is not located at the girdle as this would affect the durability. Especially if u intend to set the diamond and the prong will be directly over it.

At Si1 clarity you should have the gemologist examine the stone to make sure the inclusions are A) not eye-visible unaided (eyeclean B) negatively impact performance and C) negatively impact durability.

So ask the vendor. They are your authority because they have the stone and can examine it.

Pirhanafish - thank you! I'll watch out for that.

Gypsy- Thanks! I'll ask the vendor!

Appreciate the help! :wavey:
