Question about a stone

Hi everyone,

I'd like an opinion on this one stone i got from someone. i'm guessing it's a form of imitation of some sort. If anyone can shed some light on this stone, i'd appreciate much.

Hi there, It looks like a lovely cabochon - is it a sapphire? a spinel? a topaz? I don't know but I'd suggest you hit the corner button above your post ("report concern") and ask the mods to move to coloured stones. Those people are incredibly informative! They should be able to assist you (may want to put up a few more photos, if possible, as all info is good info!)
