Quality of Melee diamonds

The main stone is definitely warrants time spent in researching to get the best stone one can buy.
Some vendors do sell really high quality melee stones eg WF ACA melee (anyone else do this too?)

Do most of you care about the quality of the melee diamonds going into the settings?

Some vendors just note in the description page that their melee setting stones are G/H and S2/SI1 and up.

However how do we know what kind of cut performance stones would the vendors included in the setting?
I dont want to be in a situation where the melee stones are flat and dull looking..


Could you advise on what to expect of melee stones please?

I was so focused on the center stone that I didn''t worry about this. BUT I was using a good diamond vendor and looked at the settings first and then picked a well known setting maker. So from what I had seen and who I was working with I trusted that the melee would be good.

It all turned out great! So don''t go overboard with worry. HTH

Yes, I care very much about the cut quality of the melees. If I pay a [remium for a top cut grade center stone, I also want the top cut melees to complete the look of my ring. I do not mind paying more for a ring with WF''s ACA melees, because I can trust that the melees will sparkle madly. If for some reasons I cannot get a WF ring (or other jewelry) with ACA melees, then I''ll rely on Brian Gavins to find the best cut melees or cut his own to put in my jewelry.
