purchasing in Toronto / USAcertified diamonds

Hi,

I''ve heard good and not so good things in regards to Martin Sheffield / USAcertified diamonds.

While this site has generally raved about him (? bias site) , other sites and locally, some have discussed some drawbacks to dealing/purchasing with him.

Anyone else had good/not so good experiences with this company? Other respected places around Toronto?

He offered me an excellent Cut, Excellent Symm Excellent Polish by GIA cert. I posted on the forum here and they all barfed. So I decided not to purchase. Everyone said it was a Steep Deep diamond. I would think he should have been aware of that and advised me about the pros/cons at least.

I would like to hear about your negative feebback/concerns as I have not made a purchase yet.

I got my 2 ct marquise from Martin. He was super to work with and always available to take my calls. He sent the diamond to an appraiser for me so I could see it before deciding on whether or not to purchase. My diamond is gorgous and my appraiser raved about it as well!
