Hi,
My boyfriend and I are buying a Platinum engagement ring. The jeweller is telling us that the platinum-Ruthenium that he sells is Pt975 with Ruthenium.
I wanted a Platinum 950 with Ruthenium because of it well known hardness, resistant to dents /digs and white colour. Also I’ve read Ru is resistant to oxidation unlike Pt-Co which turns blue after a while.
So my question for the experts here bwn Pt-Ru 975 & Pt-Ru 950 which one is better & why? Is it worth spending so much money on Pt-Ru 975? is it going to be as hard and durable and white as 950 Pt-Ru?
