Took K to the doctor this morning and the poor babe has pneumonia and a sinus infection!!!
39.gif
We have to do the nebulizer treatments with him and wouldn''t you know it I cannot find the stupid nebulizer anywhere. I called DH and he was less than helpful-it took everything in me to refrain from crying and yelling at him for being in Phoenix playing golf while I''m at home dealing with both kids and my first week back at school. Boo.

Jas12~Yea, back at work. Only had 3 months off. Good news is I''m only part time and summer break is just around the corner. US maternity leave is a joke. I honestly don''t think I could do a year, but 6 months would be nice!
12.gif
Are you guys moving in to the new house yet?

QT~He he...I usually do the switching while pumping to prevent overflow from superproducer side, too. Need to pay better attention!! And yes, I do still look pregnant. At this point with T I had lost all the weight and I''m still up about 13 lbs this time around. So frustrating but in my bodies defense I haven''t worked out much, either. No time.

lili~DH is away this time for pleasure. I''m a little resentful because he''s gone all the time for business and I am always home with the kids and here it is my first week back at school with sick kids and he''s off having fun playing golf. When are you able to TTC again?

puffy~Hope B gets in to the 2-3 group! When will you know?

lili
I heard that it''s very common when people retired since you are spending a lot more time together.

puffy
J is doing ok. Most nights he sleeps from 9-10pm to 5-6am, but last night he woke up at 2:30am and I had to nurse him.
Haha. "Only with daddy." B is so smart.

Burk
I also still haven''t lost all the weights this time around. With M, I actually went under my pre-pg weight before heading back to work. I have no defense; I just haven''t worked out due to my laziness.

puffy
Happy to hear the decision you guys made.
Fingers crossed for B that a spot opens up.
Haha....that answer doesn''t suprise me being that B is such a smartie!

MrsS
Your story about C playing "school" with Lily is too cute.
So do they do the same w/ Jake too?

Burk
*hugs* Go ahead and let it out.
Poor little guy...hope he feels better soon.

Burk, poor you, big "hugs" to you. Hope K feel better soon.

Took little B to the Dr. after work today, he''s been having yellowish running nose with crusty eyes. The Dr. prescribe him amoxicillin, hope he''ll feel better soon so DH and I can rest since all of us are sick.

hi all,

been busy with the new job (at same pay, yippee!) and plus we are also transitioning to my parents'' house while the house project begins. Ugh, I know the end product will be worth it but it''ll be a tough, unsettled summer.

burk: I shouldn''t complain at all, you have too much going on!! hugs is all I can say, I think I would have broken down long time ago if I had as much on my plate. I don''t know how you handle work on top of it all. You are a trooper and I hope your DH knows that!

puffy: I can''t keep track of all the baubles your DH gives you, it''s amazing! Sounds like the kids are doing great.

qtiekiki: I can see some similarities but J does look different from M! He''s getting big!

tgal: I''ve had a cranky toddler the past few days too. On occassion I also started to miss work after 12 hours with her! DH watched her one day and said she was mellow and not cranky. WTH? With me she has been whiney for no good reason, just moppy with that annoying whiney cry. She will ask for something, I give it and she says "NO!" and into the whine. So annoying but I try to not show much. And then when it''s nap time..she takes an hour to fall asleep and wants me to keep tucking her in. Same thing at night! Gosh, I better say something positive--on a cute note, she did recite the whole alphabet by herself while she took that hour to fall asleep. It made me think of your spy camera video.

snlee: congrats again..any names in mind?

so does anyone have suggestions for an easel? Thinking of the Step 2 one. C likes to draw and we need something to keep her busy in the kitchen!

sbde, Tessa is great. It is scary how fast they get sick but luckily she seems to bounce back just is fast. Thanks for asking.

Snlee, I am so excited for you! One of each is pretty cool. Yay for a good looking cervix and baby. Hope the bright spot turns out to be nothing.

Puffy, I agree with everyone about keeping him in the 2-3 year old class. He is just a toddler once and even though he is advance it might have negative social affects later.

MrsS, oh no! Is there any program J can do? Summer camp? T will be in daycare and that check is gonna hurt each month. Oh well.

Burk, you deserve a break. Send her everyday! Haha. As long as you know nothing HAS to be done today you are ok. I am so laid-back so I don''t understand the perfectionism disease
2.gif
Hope K feels better. Poor little guy. Sorry about the waste of BM. I always felt like that was liquid gold. Didn''t want to waste a drop!

Jas12, Still have a lot of tooth pain. The other side was starting to hurt yesterday (probably from over use). I don''t get the guard for two more weeks since it needs to be made. FIngers crossed. T is so bossy. Princesss thought it was pretty funny she got caught.

Q, I am doubting your old dentist too. Best to get a second opinion. Everyone who works in my dentist office wears one b/c cracks happen and once they happen they are there forever (unless you get caps). From first hand experience I can tell you how painful those little bastard cracks can be!
29.gif
M & J look like siblings for sure. Beautiful babies.

Lili, I might arrange it during my summer break (5 days off whoo hoo between summer sessions). I figure meeting at the pool or park will be easy. Who ever comes, comes.

Bobo, hope little B feels better! Sick babies are the worst. Hope you ALL feel better.

Janine, we have an easel from IKEA. It was $14.99 and has a blackboard on one side, dry erase on the other and a place to thread white paper as well. We love it. Yay for your new job Boo for living with your parents. At least it is temporary. Just remind yourself that during the tough times.

Bobo
Hope B is doing better w/ the amoxi.

Janine
Awww....how cute and smart is C reciting the whole alphabets.
You got to record her for us.
I don''t think we''ve heard her voice yet ^.^

Tacori
Woohoo....5 days off...nice.
Knowing T, I think pool is best :D
She''ll have a blast even if no one shows lol.

hi mommies, so sorry to not be posting much lately. life is just busy. my part time job takes up way more time than I thought it would. i love it, but juggling the kids and their schedules along with mine doesn''t leave much time for PS. my step daughters HS is doing Les Mis in the fall and my 8 year old is auditioning for the child roll tomorrow. She''s more nervous that she won''t get the part than about the actual audition. she wants to be in a show with her big sister so badly and my step daughter is going to be a senior so this is really a one time opportunity. she''s practiced and knows the song, is a little timid and shy but sings on pitch so who knows how she''ll do.

burk, i feel your pain. my hubby is going out of town in a couple of days and it will be me, work and 3 kids. none of them are allowed to get sick though or I''m up a creek. I hope K is feeling better. you should treat yourself to a spa day when your hubby gets home.

lili-the girls don''t really play school with Jake but they do read to him all the time. If my hubby isn''t home I have C read to Jake while I read to Lily right before bed. then we put J and L to bed and I read with C. It works great!!

janine-that is cute that C knows the alphabet. If Jake knows it he''s kept me in the dark but he won''t sing it with me. We got our easel from Target. dry erase on one side, chalk on the other. it has hanging basket things underneath. I love it. My kids play on it all the time. I keep mine in our kitchen too.

tacori-as far as I know there really isn''t anything for Jake''s age group. I don''t envy your daycare check but it will be worth it once you finish up your Master''s program!

bobo-I hope you all are feeling better!!

qt-so glad you are doing well. you seemed to have adjusted to having 2 so easily!!

Thanks everyone for your kind thoughts for Kade. He''s doing much better. DH is back in town now and I will be enjoying myself at the spa this weekend as well as having a little shopping spree! He felt horrible that he was off having fun while I was dealing with sick kids and work. I am still resentful, though! Ha.

QT~Maybe it''s just a second baby thing-not losing the weight as fast? I need to start working out. Hopefully K will start to sleep better again so I can actually feel like I have the energy to do so!

lili~Thanks. Last week was rough but it''s over now!
41.gif

Bobo~THanks. Poor B.. is he feeling any better?

janine~You''re a busy lady, too! How long will the reno take?

Tacori~I know, perfectionism is such a PITA some times. Hopefully all this house madness will be behind us in a couple weeks once all the projects are done. I hate wasted BM too-liquid gold is right!!

mrss~Hoping your kids get the message and stay healthy while hubby is away!! Glad you like your job but I hear ya on the juggling act!

Hey mamas. Today was T''s last day of preschool
39.gif
39.gif
39.gif
Even though she will be going to daycare I will miss the preschool routine, kids, teachers, etc. I am currently uploading photos of her party. I am going to e-mail them to all the moms so fingers crossed I got pics of all 12 kids. I tried really hard but obviously the majority is of T or pics she was in. A few other moms were taking photos so hopefully this will inspire them to share them. I''ll post a few on FB if they EVER load.

Tacori
Awwww it''s interesting how emotionally attached you can be with something when it involves your kid. Hope daycare will be just as great for you two. Can''t wait to see the pics.
Oh I asked my new dentist about the grinding. He said there''s no signs of grinding in front since I have a slight overbite and the teeth are not on top of each other. There is very slight sign of grinding starting with the canines, but not enough to be concerned.
Good luck with school next week.

Burk
Yeah maybe it''s a second baby thing, especially since you have two little ones to care for and not as much time for ourselves.

MrsS
You are giving me too much credits. I doing well with two because I have lots of help.

Don''t know if any of the other mommies are able to get on there, so Hi Everyone Else
35.gif
for now until we get to the new site.

I am preparing myself for work next week, mostly mentally but probably need to get some snacks, a new water bottle and random things.
M might had have a growth spurt because it seems like she can reach for a lot of things now that she wasn''t able to. But when we measure her, she is still the same height. So who knows.
Oh and am I the only one not buying new long sleeves tops/onesies and pants for their toddler even though ther tops/onesies and pants are short on her now? I figure it''s getting hot soon, and we won''t need them anymore. Seems so wasteful to get them for a month or two.

Burk--glad your DH is back and you get a VERY well deserved spa day/shopping!!!! Is K better now?

Tacori--ah, sorry that preschool is over. I hope that daycare is just as good for you guys! I am sure it will be but i think i would be sad too. It''s another chapter of her toddler life and another adjustment for you.

Bobo--how is B now?

MrsS. Ohh, i love, love les miz!! Is she auditioning for Cosette? (sp?) As i kid i dreamed and dreamed of playing that role
5.gif
I sang that song over and over & know every other song by heart. I did a lot of theatre in high school as well but never got to be in a production of that musical. I hope she gets it! Your family is so busy with great things. Must be crazy but fun.

Qtie--i am stretching the winter clothing as well. I bought some shorts etc. for co but all this warmer stuff (that he needs in the morning) is a little small but i refuse to spend more on something he''ll wear maybe anothe 2-3 weeks! Good luck with work prep.
.....
I think Co is warming up to becoming a big bro
36.gif
. He''s been asking to look at my prenatal baby books (with the diagrams of growing babies in the uterus) and the newborn pics of babies nursing etc. When he''s talking to himself in the crib i hear him talking about the baby which i need to record at some point! And last night he gave the ''baby'' 2 kisses good night!
6.gif

He also saw the baby going nuts in my belly (you know the crazy warped movements you get at the end when it looks like the thing is going to bust out) and he was amazed and asking "again again". So i think he gets it a bit. we shall see soon right?!
4.gif
I am remaining positive.

Hi ladies! It''s been busy over here. DH accepted a job offer today and is going to start after Memorial Day (he''s really excited - it''s exactly what he wants to be doing and the pay''s more than he was expecting) and so we''re about to scramble to find childcare.

George is walking like a champ in the house but isn''t comfortable doing it much out of the house yet. He''s turning into a climber. He likes the big kid playground equipment much more than the toddler equipment because he can climb about twice as high, and he can make it up the stairs in the house in no time.

He''s also started throwing temper tantrums like a pro - screaming, stamping feet, going limp if you try to pick him up. Evidently I was really bad by 15 months but mostly grew out of it by 20 months, so I''m hoping that we get the worst out of the way early. My in-laws claim that their kids never threw tantrums like that and so it''s all from my side. Anyone believe them?
25.gif
G''s really pushing buttons now and testing us constantly as well. The other night he slapped me, and I told him "no hit", and so he rested his hand on my face, palm facing out, and slapped his hand. I told him "no hit" and so he held his hand about an inch away from me and tried again. It was amazing.

Tacori - I hope that T likes her new daycare!

Q - I got tired of G growing out of clothes and so the last round of winter clothes we got was rather large at first. He''s still fitting into them now, and got new summer clothes for his bday so we''re covered for a little while... I''d personally try to stretch the current clothes as well though, if he were outgrowing them at this time of year.

Jas12 - aww!

Thanks Tacori,

Thanks lili, we stop his med. after two days because he was having "liquid poop" and the pedi told us to stop it because it''s a ten day course amoxcillin and she don''t want him to have "liquid poop" for that long.

Thanks MrsS, how did the audtion go?

burk, he is not getting better, but not getting worse either so I guess that is good. Enjoy your spa and shopping, you deserve it.

Jas12, little B is the same, yellow color running nose. But he isn''t getting worse so I guess that is good. Co will be a super big brother, how sweet of him to gave the "baby" kisses.

Blenheim, yay on your DH''s new job!

hi mommies...just checking in to ay hi.

just got back from vegas and we''re super tired and busy. the boys both got sick while there and still are sick...YUCK. but they seem to be on the mend a little. hopefully i''ll have time to catch up soon.

take care mommies!!

Jas12 & Blen - Glad I''m not the only one. I do need to get her some new jeans though.

Jas12
Yay for Co warming up to the baby. How funny that he said "again, again". M was doing great with J when we first brought him home. Well it may be more like "what/who is this?" But lately she is a little jealous. Sometimes she''ll point to the PnP to tell me to put him down or push me toward grandma for me to give J to her. At least it''s not that often.

Blen
Congrats on your DH''s job.
Yay for George walking like a champ, and hope he is like mama and grows out of tantrums by 20 months.

Bobo
Glad little B isn''t getting worse. So are you just waiting it out to see if he gets better on his own?

puffy
Didn''t realized you went to Vegas again. I''ve been craving for buffet in Vegas. haha.
Hope the boys feel better soon.

They had a final party at T''s preschool today for all the children plus a graduation for the oldest class. One of T''s teachers was doing hair and I was stunned and amazed she wanted to get her hair done. She sat still (but made some hysterical faces) and was so quiet. It was so funny. When she woke up from her nap her hair was crazy and I asked if I could put her hair in a ponytail and she said "no, only that one time."
20.gif
Meanwhile I think we have glitter, or sprinkles as she calls it, everywhere. So am I a really bad person that I didn''t get her teachers gifts? I feel guilty about it but honestly didn''t really think about it. I know around the holidays it is common but are you suppose to at the end of the year? Oh well.

My tooth is still killing me so I am going to a new dentist next week. I think a constant tooth ache may be enough to drive me slowly insane. Now even air seems to bother it
38.gif
Hopefully the new doc can fix it.

Q, glad you aren''t grinding down your teeth like me. I wake up with sore teeth. It''s already hot here so T hasn''t been in long sleeves for probably a month.

Jas12, adjustments are scary now there is a kid involved. I am a laid-back person which helps but I am feeling some mom guilt. Glad Co is getting excited. Like it or not a little brother/sister is about to be here. I know he will adjust.

Blen, yay for the new job for your DH. Good luck finding childcare. MIL loves to tell me how good her kids were when they were babies/toddlers. Geee...thanks.

Puffy, hope the boys feel better soon.

No on soda. Soda isn''t good for anyone. Pizza is fine in moderation.

No on soda. Soda isn't good for anyone. Pizza is fine in moderation.
Agreed. Definitely pizza but absolutely NO soda.

ditto above-seems like common sense to me. Pizza is bread, tomato, veggies and a legitimate option especially when homemade.

on a different note, I''ve now moved on from shoes to hairclips. Just like TGAL predicted, C needs the "big girl" giddy giddy clips now, so just seeing if anyone knows of a site that sells them slightly cheaper? Guessing no---they seem to have the market cornered on these, but still worth asking!

In terms of shoes, went with a pair of Umi''s at full price but she needs a good summer pair. Then picked up a pair of SKR sandals in white at a great price. Definitely wide in the foot, so had to size down (which mysteriously equals the same European size of the Umi''s a size up..guess it''s all by brand.)

Hope everyone''s doing well..

Janine, Umi''s run small. I didn''t realize that and now have to get rid of her 24s even though she fits into size 7s in other show brands. It is annoying.

Hi all...I''m sick and DH is stepping up and watching the boys...

I just would like to share two small things that make me smile (If I were to tell people this sort of stuff IRL, I''m sure I''d get the eyeroll):

1. Jackson calls Logan "Noggin"

2. We asked Logan to get us one diaper from the bag so we could change him...he seemed to find every diaper in the house and bring them to us...took him several trips with his arms loaded. I didn''t have the heart to tell him to stop. I also couldn''t stop laughing.

Again, like I said, IRL I just can''t tell these stories.

Hope you are all well...will catch up soon.

Blonde bunny--soda: no way, pizza: yes. Why ?

Jas--we''ll gladly take the stories, so post away! "noggin" teehehe, that''s adorable and i bet it''ll stick!

I am in pregnancy back pain hell and can barely walk right now. Very frustrating.
On a good note (maybe) Co has decided the potty is an okay place to pee and poo again and used it all day today (weird)
HOWEVER. this could be really tricky timing. If he decides he''s cool with the potty i forsee me, a grocery store, a newborn, a toddler and a full bladder. I am going to have to stick with pull ups for a while! whatever, i''ve officially given up on trying to simplify my life
3.gif

jas, sorry your sick. I''m glad your hubby is there to help. there isn''t much worse than being sick and trying to take care of kids. I love both your stories...too cute!!

jas12, woohoo on Co using the potty!! jake has gotten to the place where he will let me know as soon as he''s gone and wants a dry diaper on but still won''t sit on a potty. He loves to pee on a towel after every bath or shower though
20.gif
hoping baby #2 doesn''t decide to bake as long as Co and maybe even come a few days early!!

MrsS. isn''t it funny how they have such strong opinions about where and when they poop and pee. Jake sounds like Co in that they totally have the ability to know ahead of time when they have to go, just fleeting desire to do it in the potty. I really wish i had committed to training waaaaay back when i started last year. I just realized how drawn out this process has been & how often he alternates b/w potty and diaper. Not that it matters in the grand scheme of things, but i guess it''s true what they say about the parents needing to be ready just as much as the kids. You really have to put the time in. We''re rarely home so that''s a big part of the problem.
How did your daughter''s audition go?

jas12 super quick...i have been there!! holding B''s hand, pushing N in the stroller, and bags attached to the stroller when B decides it is the perfect time to need to pee!! it''s definitely harder to go to the bathroom with all this going on, but we''re getting better at it. by we, i mean B will ALWAYS go before we leave the house and when it''s easier to go, i''ll make him go. and i have been a lot better with dealing with N and holding all the bags and stroller while taking B to the potty. it''s definitely an adventure in itself!

boys are still sick. B has been super clingy and N sleeping ALL day long. and i have a million things to do...still have yet to unpack from vegas.

be back later.... happy sunday mommies!!

aw puffy, so sorry both boys are sick. I hope they both have a speedy recovery.

Jas12,. She did very well at her audition. she has to sing in front of all the Highschool kids as well as the directors. She was the youngest to audition and they ended up giving the part to a little girl who is 12 and had a lot more stage experience. It was still a great experience for her. thanks for asking. On a happier note, my 17 year old got the part of Eponine (which is the one she wanted).

Puffy--sorry the boys are still sick. I hope they weren''t sick for much of your trip
7.gif

the bathroom trips do not sound fun. B is so agreeable and easy going and while Co generally is too, he''s also so timid and routine based and i can''t see him being ready to pee in a public washroom anytime soon (he hates the kiddie toilets & their loud flush at the YMCA when try to get him to go before going into the pool) so that scares me a bit! But still glad to hear it''s doable
1.gif

MrsS--congrats to your daughter!! that''s awesome, and as for the cosette part, it''s great that she had the experience of a good audition. I bet you were really proud

hey gals...

lots going on here I see, and it seems every one is busy and life is just flying by.

Janine, try giddygiddy direct. The big girl clips are 8 bucks there, which is cheaper than anywhere else, I think. Plus $2 flat rate shipping.

BB, ditto everyone. Pizza yes, soda, nope.

QT, hope being back at work goes well this week.

And I hope all the sick ones get better. Something is going around!

Nothing new here. My friend''s shower (the one I posted about) went well and I think we did the entire thing for about $700, which is within budget. She was floored that I could be creative and put things together without her, I think, hahaha. But no one ever expects me to be creative, so she was surprised at the custom printed menus, the vases and flower arrangements my friend and I did (everything thought they were professional and ordered) and of course the diaper cake.

Amelia is still doing well in preschool. It''s sad though, I watched her the last couple of times in the morning playroom. She just people watches, but isn''t overly active in playing with all the toys in front of her. She interacts with the teacher and smiles, but doesn''t seem to be making friends yet. I hope that comes in time.
