Great food suggestions everyone! Thanks so much!
Ella, no benefit to buying the ones in the pods. I just noticed in the beginning that Amelia was more transfixed and more willing to eat them. Now we actually just shell them and she picks them up. I like the flavor of the fresh ones at Trader Joe''s the best. It does have some salt, but that''s the least of my worries right now. I''m also impressed your kids like tofu out of the package. I love it, but it is bland plain!
I did the fresh beans with oil and salt the other day and Amelia hated them. I will try the frozen ones. You never know what get a kid to eat.
OK, I have to make a list of all this food to try. LOL, doesn''t it seem like the infant mommy thread is all woes about sleep and the toddler thread is all woes about eating? Ay yi yi.
snlee, D is talking more than Amelia, as far as words go. I think she''s actually trying to say things, but hell if I know what she''s talkin'' about. And edamame is fresh at trader joes in the veggie section.
Burk, doesn''t it freak you out to see your kid all svelte? It freaks me out especially when I see Amelia at the park next to all these happily plump kids! And then I think...would it be healthier if she was plump at this age? I don''t know. I see way more chubby kids at this stage so I am wondering if I''m doing something wrong. As much as Amelia doesn''t love veggies, we do get her to eat plenty throughout the day. It''s just healthy, lower cal foods so I''m worried. Tons of fruit, etc. Higher cal stuff is yogurt, turkey dogs, cheese. It''s all highly perplexing.
Tacori, hahaha...too funny on the stuck ducks!
