fiery--
hope everything is okay w/ sophia.

snlee--
ahh....mommy brain. i knew i forgot something.
does D use the sippy cup? i''m thinking the sucking motion on the sippy wouldn''t be too different w/ the straw.
it may be worth it to give the munchkin straw a try.
the straw is made w/ a softer vinyl that won''t collapse like the disposable straw, so maybe sucking through it would be easier?

puffy--
awww.....if i recall correctly from one of B''s birthday picture... i think Noah looks more like you.
he''s a chunky monkey huh? so cute and big.
get your butt onto FB then and post over there
3.gif

Burk--well, i hope T''s cuz is a good neighbour to her--geez.
you backed out of the maternity shoot eh? I am tempted -haha.
sorry to hear kade had a rough night. I hope everyone feels better soon and gets some rest!

Lili--i''ll post a few maternity pics on FB, but i am not looking fwd to it. It''s more for my MIL (she bugged me last pregnancy and i didn''t oblige her)I am very self-concious preggo and i am already retaining water so i don''t really need to photograph that
14.gif

MrsS--so cute that your girls opened jake''s pressies for him. That''s what happened at christmas with us. Took forever to get thru the opening cuz he just wanted to play with one thing.
He loves the Wedgits set of blocks he got (great toy!!) i''ll post it on the toy thread

Tacori--T''s class pics are so cute. i am with you on the fake backgrounds (ick!) had that problem with my MIL. She wanted the maternity pictures from Sears studio (offered to pay and everything) and I was thinking ''gawd noooo'' how do i get out of that. We are having the photographer come to my cottage so i''ll hopefully get some less posed pictures with a variety of settings. I just booked it without her knowledge and i''ll pretend it is intended as a mother''s day gift so she doesn''t think i am a total b*tch
5.gif

Puffy-ahh, Noah is adorable
1.gif

Okay, I should be off the hook for awhile ladies. I posted a video and photos of my little monster...errr...I mean girl on FB
2.gif

MrsS, I actually love plain white or black backgrounds. I have to figure out which one, how many I want to buy.

Burk, good luck with the move! Hopefully being close to the ILs will be helpful.

snlee, I''ll have to check them out.

puffy, noah is so handsome!

jas12, if she wants to pay for them AND take her to get her picture taken bring on the gross backdrops. Personally I like the photos I get with my D60 of her in her REAL environment. I just wish she would either take her or shut up about it. I am sick of hearing about all the things I am doing wrong
20.gif

puffy: he is the cutest thing ever!!!!
30.gif

tacori: I think the pics are great and the fake background is cheesy but kind of funny too. She's a cutie and loved the crossed legs pose. And the FB video will keeps us satisfied for awhile, although I now realize my little grump is officially throwing tantrums. Her nooooo's and shaking of the head is a carbon copy of T's! No kicking or arm injury claims yet, but that might be because she's only starting!

liil: how's J doing these days? Anymore singing?

jas12: sounds good w/the photographer, you'll get some nice shots! I bet you are a very pretty preggo!

Jas12--
You better not wimped out on those pictures.

Tacori--
Oo.....better go over and check it out.
That video sounds like a hoot.
And that''ll tie you over for the month of April only :D

Janine--
You need to get C on video too!

J is doing very well.
She is definitely still singing and making up silly songs by substituting words (ie, she replaces her five little ducks w/ dogs and change the quacks to woofs, or the itsy bitsy spider climbing up the mommy
20.gif
)
My sister and nieces were over this weekend for a sleepover and said that J is like the energizer bunny that just keeps going and going once her eyes are opened.
First thing out of her mouth was "there is something sleeping in my bed" when she rolled over and saw my sister and nieces.
It''s fascinating seeing how her verbal skills developed.
I''m enjoying every minute of it
5.gif

How is C doing?
Teeth came in yet?
LOL....you''ll have a load of fun w/ those tantrums.
Gotta love those diva moments.

Tacori
Glad you guys had a great time at your parents'. I am not surprised that they want her for the whole summer. She is such a charming little girl.
Let me know how transitioning to cup only goes for you. We still give M a straw cup most of the times, but sometimes she'll ask for a cup. She does pretty well with the cup, but I am worried about the mess if I leave her alone with one.

Burk
I applaud you. You are dealing with a lot, and you are tackling everything.
Yay on the new house. I think it makes sense in your case to buy the house.
J is doing pretty well. He only sleeps about 6 hrs max at night, and he doesn't nap well during the day. He is really gassy, so we've been giving him Mylicon drop.
I am going back to work on May 24th. It's quickly approaching.
8.gif

K is a big boy. I hate watching the babies get shots; all the crying and screaming break my heart.

puffy
The kids are doing well. J is a fussier baby than M, but it could be worse. M is just her silly self.
LOL on B talking about slot machines. I bet the colors and lights are very attractive to kids.
New purse. What did you get?
Congrats on the new house.
Awww Noah is so cute. Love those cheeks.

Jas12
Yes we are lucky. M's faves are sauteed bok choy and stir fry broccoli and baby corn.
Sounds like Co had a good birthday. Sorry the family expected Co to perform.
Hope Co cooperates at the photo shoot. Can't wait to see the pics.
How cute that Co says "No way".

janine
It's probably a phase that C is going through. M has been in that phase for a while.
25.gif

MrsS
How funny that J didn't want to open any more gifts, and how sweet that your DH is looking forward to watching J plays little league.
How are the girls?

snlee
Yay for D not resisting the Tommee Tippee cup. Little steps.

lili
So cute that J knows Daddy's teams. M likes watching basketball on tv. DH and M were playing basketball in the back yard the other day, and DH said he held her up and she dunked the ball.
LOL... "is there something in my bed?" J has amazing verbal skills. M babbles like she is telling you a story, but no real sentences or even stringing words together.

fiery
What's the reason that Sophia needs to see an urologist?

thank you for all the kind words about my chubby lil guy!! yes, he''s quite the chinky kiddo but i wouldn''t have it any other way!!

jas12 i loved doing my maternity shoot, esp the 2nd time around since i had B in them. i''m sure your pics will turn out beautifully!

lili J cracks me up. she''s such a funny girl! love the bed story!

tacori how is miss T doing? i miss her diva stories.

janine hope C is doing well.

qt i got a chanel. i am chanel obsessed!! i''m sure J will start to sleep in longer stretches, but 6 hours is not bad at all. your maternity leave is coming to an end soon...is your MIL going to watch both the kids? enjoy these last few weeks you have with the kids.

B slept today until almost 11am and N slept in until a little after 10...what is going on with my kids?? i mean i''m not complaining at all, but i wonder if B will even nap later. B is reading a story to N right now....just random describing the pictures in the book. it''s the cutest thing. B is obsessed with robots lately and apparently he has a robot and the robot''s name is Noah. haaha!!

have a great day mommies!

QT--
Poor J.
Do you know what attributed to his gassiness?
6 hrs is great. J didn''t go 6 hrs until she''s more than 9 months.
I can relate to the non-napping
8.gif

Hope he naps for you soon.

How cute that M is a basketball buff.
I guess it''s not surprising since your HD is such a fanatic about it :D
And how cute is that she babbles like she''s telling a story.
It won''t be long before she''s yapping away!
J was never a babbler.
At one point, I was a little concern that she might not talk.
But once she''s got her first word, she''s been yacking ever since.

LOL...about the stir-fried veggie.
Must be a chinese thing cuz J loves her stir-fried broccoli too.
I haven''t tried bok choy yet (since I''m not a cook :)

Puffy--
FB lady.
There you can see MsTessa in action!

And I envy your boys'' sleep.
There is no way that J would sleep past 8 (unless she went to bed at midnight).
She''d screamed bloody murder or more like cried "eat something, i''m hungry" to get me out of bed.

Awww...so cute B is reading to N. J does that w/ her stuff animals :D
She''ll recite what she remembers or else look at the pictures and make something up.
LOL....tooo funny about robot Noah. That is a sure sign of affection for kids.

Can''t believe your N is 3.5 months already.
Seems just like yesterday when you were wondering about your wonky cycle.

janine, guess she has to work up to hurting herself
20.gif
I seriously laugh even if I just think about that video. She was out of control. Sorry she is acting like a toddler. It can suck at time!

lili, I love when T sings random songs she makes up too. J sounds so funny. I love the verbal explosion too. I don''t even know how she learns some of this stuff.

QT, she is charming when she wants to be. The cup thing is going good except she sneaks her fingers in it.
38.gif
I am only doing water right now. Figure we will work our way up to the messy stuff.

puffy, I love chubby babies too
30.gif
Makes me sad when I see one of T''s fat rolls disappear.

puffy, Noah is so cute! If I remember correctly, I think he looks like you. FB lady! Find us!

lili, I can''t get D to drink from a sippy cup. He won''t suck. He bites it then pushes it away. Yesterday he took a few sips of milk without spilling and even asked for it when I had it out on the table. It''s a start!

Tacori--
It is amazing how much and fast they can pick up on things.
You can say a word once and it registered w/ them.
I am loving this stage. It's so fun hearing the things that come out of their mouths.
J is getting pretty good at putting words together.
Before her sentences would be something that we've said.
Now she's actually making her own sentences from words that she knew.
A few weeks ago she asked for a piece of cake for breakfast (yes, we've been eating cake for a whole week after her bday because it was a big cake),
when DH told her that we don't have any more cake because we finished it.
She goes "maybe we can go and buy some more cake later".

LOL...I am not surprised that T put her fingers in her cup water.
What do you expect from the water baby? :D

Snlee--
That's great D is getting used to the cup.
Just stick w/ it and he'll be drinking from it w/o spills in no time.
I think J was about that age when she start using cups.

lili haha, my crazy B took an afternoon nap too, he woke up at almost 11, napped at 2-5 (yes, 3 hours!!), then went to bed at 830. we were having our cuddle time and coloring and he looked at me and said, "sorry mommy, i''m tired." and off he went to sleep. crazy!!! that is so funny...i love J stories, that girl is truly something! i know, my ''baby'' is going to be 4 months next week! how time flies!!

snlee thanks! that''s progress for D with the cup!

tacori i know what you mean, B has no more fat rolls and i''m like, ''what happened to my chubby lil baby?'' he''s just lean and tall now. noah is so chubby...i''m almost afraid that the pedi is going to tell me to put him on a diet when we go in for his 4 month appt next week. i mean he is chubby but he is also super tall.

the kids are down for the night. i should do laundry and clean...house stuff in general, but something about watching a movie with a big bowl of ice cream is so much more inviting!!

oh and AF showed up...3.5 months into BFing...YUCK! DH is happy about it though cause that crazy man has seriously convinced himself that i will be preggo before the end of the year...don''t think so.

Ha...I knew you couldn''t be blessed w/ everything :P
Just kidding....sorry about AF. It sucks to have it return that soon, especially when you had to deal w/ those weeks of PP bleeding not too long ago.
LOL....your DH is funny. Hey, we could be preggo buddies
2.gif

Hi Gals...

Just a drive by to wave!
35.gif
Been at a tradeshow all week and very busy...not even time to read PS really. But finally done and kicking back in the hotel for one more night before returning home to the inlaws. Wanted to relax and catch up with my favorite mamas!

Talk to you all when the ILs leave on Tuesday!!

HI gals,
tgal, hope you''re having a good trip!

lili, i totally agree with this age being fun. especially because the words/sentences are really starting to flow and it''s just fun when they pick up, learn and use a knew word correctly.

I don''t have time to catch up but promise to soon. My oldest is celebrating her b-day tomorrow and i''ve got to go bake cupcakes for school.

Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!!

TGal--
We''ve missed you.

MrsS--
Happy Birthday to Chloe.
How is Jake doing?
Did the dr say how long it take for his collarbone to heal?
How is your sister doing by the way?
Any exciting news?
5.gif

I''m so sorry I got behind. Again.

Things are moseying along. L. tried to climb out of his crib the other day. That did not go well. He landed on his back. He got up immediately and ran around, crying, but otherwise fine. I feel like I can''t officially call it a day unless I have some toddler-related heart-attack. On the plus side, he''s starting to talk. Jackson''s latest word is "Gabba" - They watched that show once and now it''s a constant request. As Tacori said many months ago, it''s baby crack. Jackson also likes to laugh like The Count after any number is said or if I count anything out loud. Cracks me up. Still won''t/don''t/can''t say "Mama."

I''m looking for a baby class/activity for them over the summer, as the current class ends in mid-May. I get the craziest fliers for schools/activities. They seem to prey on the parents'' concerns that their kids will be behind somehow when they enter kindergarten.

32.gif

Puffy -- I never welcomed you back from your trip! I''m glad it went well. It sounds like B and N are just great little travelers -- and sleepers! You are blessed. The picture is just delicious! I want to smooch that sweet face! Sorry about AF, but tell your husband to settle down! :)
Snlee -- how is the cup/sippy situation going?
Burk -- I''m so sorry about the brush with thrush How is your pain? Hugs to you, lady. Any luck finding the missing earring?
Blen -- I just read about Pea Jello. Your poor Dad. Sadly, that sounds like the kind of thing I craved when preggo.
Tacori -- I''m glad you had a good trip (minus the flight). "Mygrampa" is the best name ever. Your dad must beam when she says that.
Jas12 -- I''m glad the party went well for Co. He''s a trooper. That''s a lot of stimulation for a kid, but it sounds like he handled it like a champ. No surprise there! The preggo shoot
Lili -- how are you doing these days? I love the idea of J. switching words to songs. I can''t wait for my boys to do something like that!
QT -- How are things in your busy household these days?
MrsS -- Happy cupcake baking! Hope J. is ok!
Janine - I think it was grumpy toddler time. I hope things have settled down for you!

lili, she is a smart girl!

puffy, that sucks AF showed up so soon! So your DH is still pushing for three huh?

TGal, I''ve been thinking about you girl. Glad you are holding up. We miss you.

mrss, happy birthday to Chloe! How is Jake?

Jas, YGG is baby crack. T will ask for specific episodes. Her favorite is "Family." The flight wasn''t too bad. I just like to complain
3.gif
BTW if you are ever in MKE you have to take the boys to the Children''s Museum. It is awesome. Sometimes T will call my mom "grandmommy" which THRILLS my mom to no end.

We went to the park today to meet some friends and had a picnic. Too funny, she pooped and told me, well demanded I changed her diaper. My car was 200 degrees and my friend had a blanket so off we went to find a suitable place to change her diaper. We tried a few spots before princess approved. Diva. Anyhow I changed he and we went back only to realized I had no idea where my car keys were. I had them to get a diaper out of my car so I knew they went missing in our search. Off I went looking when T came running up "Mama! I found keys! Mama!" She must have heard me tell my friend they were missing. Too funny.

Hello mommy friends! I caught a cold and was miserable the past couple days...not a good combo with lack of sleep and so much to get done before we move. At least neither T or K got it (or so I hope). DH is out of town so I think I'm going to go ahead and go to bed here pretty soon (it's not even 9
9.gif
).

T story for the day: on our way home from T's school today she was coloring and telling me about her day and K started to cry (he was hungry so it wasn't just a mild fuss) and without even looking up from her coloring T says "whoa Buddy..... mommy what's his issue?" The things that come out of these kids mouths.

Puffy~Yay for a new house!! Have you already closed already? We're closing on the "interim house" in two weeks. I'm so glad you were able to find something that's close to your dream house! Cute pic of Noah. Oh and boo about AF!!

snlee~Thanks! I think I could be a poster-lady for anything that could go wrong with BFing!
3.gif
I can't believe you're in your 2nd tri already!

lili~Thanks. We actually did the gentian violet for the thrush and it worked really fast for K. The Dr. thinks it actually may have irritated my cracks, though, because I was having some serious pain and she wasn't sure it was from the thrush. The gentian violet is purple and stains their mouths so I have some great pics of poor K with a purple mouth. Mean mommy. New house probably won't be done until November. Not sure how long it will take since we've changed builders and are actually having a friend build who doesn't have a ton of experience. We shall see.

Jas12~Yep, I backed out. Don't take my lead!
3.gif
When it came down to it we had just had Christmas pics (in which I was preggo) and I just didn't really know what I'd even do with them besides put them away. I couldn't see myself framing any or anything so I decided to just skip it.

Tacori~Thanks! So not looking forward to moving but I'm packing little by little so hopefully it won't be too overwhelming when we actually move. Since it's new construction I have to worry about window treatments and we're doing a few upgrades before moving in so I have that to worry about too.

QT~Thanks! K sounds a lot like J. We get 6-8 hours for the first stretch and then all h*** breaks loose and he goes anywhere from 2-4 hours after that. Super gassy and uncomfortable. Frustrating because I've cut out dairy and corn and he seems to be getting worse lately even though I haven't added anything back really. Mylicon don't work for K at all. Have you tried gripe water? There's one called Colic Calm that seems to help K a bit. You can google it if you want to give it a shot....I figure anything is worth a try.

Hi Tgal!!

Jas~Thanks! Pain is getting a ton better. No luck finding the missing earring-I'm just considering it gone...don't want to get my hopes up. Yo Gabba Gabba really is baby crack. My T was obsessed as well.

Oh, and I totally forgot the reason I logged on....mommy brain!!!

This storage unit Tacori found me from JCPenney is on sale and Saturday and Sunday they have a 20% off Friends and Family so they are super affordable. Someone was asking about toy storage a while back so thought I''d throw it out there if anyone is interested. I think I''m going to get it.

Hi Mommy friends! company have blocked all the websites including Facebook and pricescope and when I get home I don''t get to used the computer because little B will just come and attack it. I have little to no computer time at all!

I just want o share with you guys that we''re having another boy. I was at the ER last night because my stomach been tighting up all day and my OB wasn''t in the office so they asked me to go to the ER. When the ultrasound tech. told me it''s a boy I started to cry and she kee saying t might still be a gilr when I have my full anatomy scan on the 30th. I felt bad, because she kept apolizing to me...and I guess I just thought this pregnancy felt so different from the last one that it must be a girl. DH went to get food for me when they wheeled me out for ultrasound and when they rolled me back and he was like "whats'' wrong, is everything ok?" I guess I looked really sad.

puffy, Noah is so cute!

Burk, hope you will feel better soon! Tayva is so funny!

Bobo-- i am sorry you didn''t hear the gender you wanted. Probably a good thing u found out so that now you have a while to digest that info. I was shocked when i had my boy b/c i never pictured a boy in my family and never had a brother or a close boy friend so i had to ask myself if i needed to find out this time around. Like others on FB have said, the wonderful thing about 2 of the same gender, close in age, is the friendship. And the way you love little B, you''ll love this new little monkey. But that said, if you were dreaming of a girl, no advice from us with convince you..and that''s okay. Have a good cry or two and treat yourself to something nice .

Just had my maternity/family photo shoot. Neither the weather nor Co cooperated well. I told Co yesterday we were going to the cottage for pictures and then he could play and he was okay with that ( i usually give him a heads up b/c he is shy and didn''t want to spring a surprise visitor on him ) Today he was *not* having it. When we got in the car he was wailing "noooo pictures, no saying cheeeese". lovely. He wouldn''t even come near us for the first 1/2 hour, then i broke down and offered my first total bribe (heck, i was paying a lot of $$ for this). cookie in exchange for sitting with mom for a while in some pictures. He obliged and we got a few good shots i think (he got cheeky for a min and acutually played with my belly, which is a first). But i wanted family and solo candid outside by the lake and we didn''t get any. I am surprised the photographer still charged us the full price. She was only there for about 1 hour and most of that time was spent coaxing and setting up. I feel like i might of spent a s*it load of money for maybe a couple nice pictures. Oh well, it''s for the MIL
5.gif

bobo i can totally relate to what you''re going through. except, i *knew* i was having another boy....i just felt it. i admit i wanted a little girl so badly, but i knew it most likely wasn''t going to happen. but when we found out for sure we were having a boy, the reaction from B and DH were all i needed to know that i was ok with another boy. B is such a wonderful big brother to N and i am so glad that i have 2 boys now. he reads to him plays with him, gets toys for him, everything B does revolves around N and i am so lucky to be a mommy to these 2 boys. i can totally see the two of them growing up together and being buds and all my boys (B, N, and DH) playing catch together or something. i can''t wait. there was nothing i wanted more than to have a girl, but things changed and i couldn''t imagine my life any different...i wouldn''t change anything about it now.

jas12 hope you got a few good pics!! my maternity shoot went on for hours...but it was mostly of B playing with my belly. haha

burk hope you''re better! T is super funny!! we actually closed on the house a few weeks back. it''s ready for us to move into whenever we are ready. it''s funny, this is seriously as close as it gets to my dream house but i''m not excited about the move at all. haah. B wants to go NOW since his playroom will be about 3x what it is now. i just wonder if i''ll feel weird...the new house is almost 2.5x bigger than our current house...so much more room but so much more to clean and keep clean! haha.

tacori good thing T found the keys! DH is talking about 4 kids...YIKES!! and i can''t tell him we have no room since we got a bigger house.

jas my goodness...hope L is a-ok!! Jackson is funny!

tgal welcome back!!

mrsS hi!! hope you and the family are doing well.

lili haha!! i would love to be your preggo buddy BUT i just can''t see any more kids in my near future. again, i don''t want to push my luck with pregnancy, L&D, and kids in general. how are you doing?

ok mommies...happy saturday and have a wonderful weekend!! taking the boys shopping then the park then to the academy of science...B lovers that place!

lili, dr. said it would probably take a couple of weeks for it to be completed healed. He''s on codeine until monday (we actually go for his 2 year old check-up...perfect timing) and then I''ve got to wean him off and switch to motrin. Jake really is doing fine. He will forget that he''s hurt and do something that causes pain in that spot and cry but he''s really figured out what not to do and today doesn''t seem to be bothered by it at all. He''s right handed and I''ve noticed he''s using his left hand to do a lot of things now. It''s the right collarbone that''s fractured. oh and I totally scored on a complete Thomas the Train wooden train set, including the table at a consignment store. It''s well over a grand worth of pieces and I got for a steal. Jake is over the moon and surprisingly does not try to take apart the track. He''ll just chug his little train along and say ''choo choo.'' no exciting news yet for my sister. they decided to wait a few months before ttc again and I think they just started not preventing again. hopefully, it won''t take long b/c I know how much she is wanting #2. thanks for asking.

bobo, I know how disappointed you are feeling but I promise once baby #2 gets here you will forget that you wanted a girl. having 2 of the same sex really is so fun and they really do become best friends. I promise it will get better and I''m glad you are okay.

jackiejas- glad L is okay after figuring out a way to escape the crib! Jake hasn''t tried it yet, but it''s only a matter of time. I think the broken collarbone is slowing him down a bit
41.gif
too funny about yo gabba. Jake still hasn''t seen it. he''s hooked on Thomas the train right now which I don''t get because it''s sooooo boring
24.gif

jas, I totally bribed jake with a cookie to get him to sit for pics on his b-day. sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. I hope you''ll post pics on fb so we can see. I bet they are gorgeous.

puffy, happy saturday to you too!!

So is it strange that one of my friends borrowed my s''ng and has yet to return it when her son turned 1 in Feb? Kinda funny but it isn''t like I need it. Hope she knows she is BORROWING it and it was not a gift.

Burk, you are a super mama so I have faith you will get it all done. Good price on the toy storage! Glad it worked out!

Bobo, I am sorry you are disappointed.
15.gif
Maybe the u/s is wrong. I hope you are feeling better though. Ending up in the ER is scary! Take care.

Jas12, sorry the photo shoot did not go smoothly. Hopefully she got a few cute pics out of it.

puffy, there are plenty of excuses besides the size of your house! A good one is just saying your baby making factory is closed. He can''t really argue with that.

mrss, poor little Jake. That is awesome you scored a great deal on the train table!

bobo: sorry about the ER visit--but thankfully everything is ok. I can understand the disappointment but you will feel different when you see the baby (or maybe even by tomorrow) and it's great for little B to have a best buddy :)

tacori: it's a little rude with the SnG, but not surprising--she may've thought it was a long lease, hehe. My SIL lent me alot of things that I have not returned (small things like books though), mostly b/c I just forget!

burk & tgal : hope you busy ladies are hanging in there!

puffy: your DH likes you preggo doesn't he, hehe. I agree with Tacori, you can make it clear pretty easily that nothing will be happening in that dept for a while! You just had Noah!

jas12: sorry about the shoot---I think it is really tough to pull off one of those. Still usually a few shots come out good, so it can be worth it!

Things are good here--C is less cranky these days which is a temporary relief! But that has been exchanged with extreme clinginess! She constantly says "up, up" and no one else will do. She is learning quickly in other areas like vocabulary though, it's so cute and amazing at the same time. She's got alot of the alphabet down!

Thanks Jas12, this sounds so silly but I actually sat in the bathroom for 20 minutes this morning and cried my eyes out. I guess my dream of dressing up my daughter and passing down all my jewelry to her is gone. Sorry to hear Co won''t cooperated with the shoot.

Thanks puffy, I think DH is equally sad that it''s not a girl which don''t really help. We just need to change our mind set, I guess I thought I *knew* because I *felt* it''s a girl...Congrats on a new house, when do you guys move?

Thanks MrsSalvo, I just feel so bad because EVERYONE around me wanted me to have a girl this time and little B keep saying he want a sister...Sorry to hear about Jake''s collarbone, hope he recover soon.

Thanks Tacori, I don''t want to put hope in that the u/s is wrong because I don''t want to be disappoint again. I''m feeling better today, thanks! The hosptial wanted to keep me overnight but the Dr. said they can''t give me anything to stop the contraction since I''m so early so I thought I''d rather be home with little B.

Thanks Janinegirly, I hope little b will like his brother.

Hi ladies!

George has been a hoot lately. He has learned how to say "puppy" (aka "bahbee") and "bird" and he knows that dogs bark. In fact, when he sees dogs, he starts barking. We were out shopping the other day and they had a rescue dog promotion event and he started barking at the dogs, much to the amusement of all of the volunteers. But then again, he also barked at the snakes and crocodiles at the zoo yesterday. He has yet to say "Mama" in any sort of meaningful way, though. I think we need to try to use the word more.

We''ve been outdoors more lately with the nicer weather, and I think that the rough ground at the park as well as all of the older, faster kids are making him feel a little more inclined to try out the whole walking thing. He has yet to take the first step though.

He had his 12 month appt last week and he is something like 75th percentile for height, 26th for weight. But he doesn''t look particularly skinny to me.

Bobo - I''m sorry that you didn''t get the gender that you wanted. I think it''s natural to feel some disappointment and for things to take some getting used to. I''m sure that down the line, B will love having a little brother to play with.

Jas- sorry that Co didn''t cooperate. I hope that you at least got some good photos of it though.

Tacori - you just reminded me that we need to return our cousin''s exersaucer to them, now that G is not using it anymore. It''s in our basement right now and neither of us needs it, and so it''s just not at the front of our minds and we keep forgetting.

hi toddler mommies, sorry to interrupt but i posted in newborn about trying to get J to sleep longer since he is fighting his swaddle, ending up exposed, and waking himself up. if you have any advice or tips from your own experiences with your LO''s, i''d love to hear it, TIA!!

Poor Logan. You are lucky that they don''t have more cuts and bruises.
You should see some of the damages on some of the faces on the kids in J''s class.
Looked like at least one take a nasty fall or trip a week.
LOL...how lovely that they''ll say "gabba" before "mama" huh?
You know what...I think they both are scheming (as you can clearly see in the looks on most of the pictures) to see how long they can make mommy go bonkers by withholding their "mamas" :D
It''s going to be a comedy house once your boys start yapping away I bet.
Can''t wait to see clips of them when they do.
I''m doing great. Thanks for asking. Will write more about it later.

Tacori
LOL....good job T.
It''s great they are start to be useful eh?
And how cute is that she called your mom "grandmommy".
I''ll say your mom must be a puddle hearing that.

LOL....too funny.
It''s amazing some of the things that come out of their mouths.
Now, is that something that you would say or is that more the works of your hubby? :D
Poor K. My nephew had to take the gentian violet too...and his "mean" mommy took a picture of it as well.
Fingers crossed that your house would be complete by the time K is walking.
