I can't go into full detail just yet, but I met a couple tonight that REALLY liked me and saw potential in me. They are in the horse racing industry and if things go well they could open A LOT of doors for me in the horse world. Can I get some magical PS Dust????? They took my number, and left me their cards. They are friends with all of the greats... including Jerry Bailey (I nearly DIED). PLEASE PS lol! :halo: - closest smiley to saying a prayer.

I'm not completely sure. They took my number, I think she wants me to try her horse to see if we get on. I have both of their cards. They want me to go down to visit and they were very adamant about me being fully capable of exercising horses. If I don't hear from them by next week I'll be calling them. Even just to apprentice with her, and hear his stories would be amazing, but they were very open about ideas of introducing me around, especially to female jockies and riders! :o

My neighbor does equine massage therapy and has either taken a course (or already has ) with the "horse whisperer" Frank Bell. She was thrown off her horse last week, suffered a 3rd degre concussion, and was back on her horse a few days days later. She lovessssss horses! DD also has a friend who's father was a race horse trainer at Philadelphia Park.

Still not sure, probably exercise/training for folks and massage.... but we'll see. This could open a TON of doors for me though!

ETA : They know a lot of the big trainers, breeders, and the big name jockeys. They were SO NICE too and they just loved what I had to say!
 
Dragonfly, that is amazing! Tons of dust for you. I really hope it works out, I know how passionate you are about horses.

I usually don't post much (more lurker), but I wanted to wish you luck! I rode all through school and in college. My college roommate (and one of my team mates)'s father was a really famous jockey back in the day. She was tiny enough for it, but preferred the jumpers. I think it's all such a cool world to be in. I'm really envious and happy for you!!!
