Proposing soon, please help with ring!

I don't know anything about that store, but since it sorta sounds like you're choosing the ring as a surprise (or do you have input?) - I'd choose the first Jeff Cooper. More of a crowd pleaser IMO.

So I decided to get an engagement ring from diamonds direct (they're throwing in a free matching wedding band for the 4th of July) but I'm stuck between these three. Which do you think looks like overall better quality?

Very nice setting that most will love. Dont let them set the stone as high as it is in the picture though.

This ring has an an an, interesting gallery? Some people will love it, some will hate it (mostly hate I think). Skip this setting if it's a surprise.

If it's a round stone stick with the talya. If it is a square stone you could decide to do either this or the talya.

The quality is good on both ajaffe and jeff cooper settings. Shouldnt be an issue.

Has your GF expressed any specific preferences, or is this a total surprise? If it's a surprise I totally agree with Tyty and motown that you should stick with the Talya. Very classic and something almost everyone will think is great. However, I'm in the (probable) minority when I say that I totally love the A.Jaffe one. But unless she pointed that one out (or something very similar), I would avoid something so "different" since many people won't like it.

Have you considered other vendors? Diamonds Direct has a lot of great sparkly things but they are overpriced compared to other PS vendors.

Tayla is best among those. But you are paying too much. And it is set too high.
