I had the pronovias bangkok and it was $1800 USD.

If you purchase a pronovias gown, I think you should we warned in advance. My gown was made 2 inches too small in the hips and it was a rush order...needless to say I should not have had to dealt with all the drama I did 3-4 weeks before my wedding. The bridal salon had pronovias overnight a panel of fabric so they could remake my dress in time for my big day. I know of two bridal salons in Houston that no longer carry the Pronovias gowns because they have had so many problems with them.

Pronovias makes gorgeous gowns, however customer service and quality control are not very important to them.

I love their gowns! I ordered my Pronovias Semilla gown, and it was $1659 USD at the bridal salons here in Houston. I ended up ordering it from an online company, which saved me over $600.

My Pronovias (Jaguar but I'm going to have it altered to strapless) was $1700 USD. And Appletini - now I know why they told me they were ordering me a ten even though my measurements were a 6! They told me that and I was confused but they just acted so confident about it and had a flat alteration fee that I let them do it. It was specifically from reading about your troubles that made me think I'd rather order big, even though I didn't realize yours was a Pronovias!!

And I loooooove mine sooooo much (I miss it! Still not coming in until next April!

); even the people at the bridal shop kept commenting on how great quality the lace and craftsmanship was, and my saleslady (who was showing me mainly ~$5k dresses) kept saying in this really surprised way, "I don't understand why this costs so much less than those??" The owner of the salon even came up and saw me wearing it and said how perfect it was on me and asked the saleslady who it was by, and commented on how she would have guessed it was one of the more expensive designers because it looked so great!

Okay time to go gaze at the pictures I took of it now...

I hope you don''t have any of the drama that I had...I wouldn''t wish it on anyone. Its such a catch22-because their gowns are gorgeous. I love the new 2007 collection.

I am in love with the 2007 Dreams Oleaje! My fiance was flipping through my new magazine the other night before i had looked at it and i told him to tell me which dresses he liked and which ones he didn''t (I was happy that most of the ones he liked were styles similar to what I like! and he didn''t say yuck to any of the ones i do like!) but anyway, he was showing me all strapless ones and then i was like "I don''t know about hte strapless" and he''s like really? and i''m like yeah, and hes like well wait let me go back because there was one i didn''t think you would like becaue it wasn''t strapless" and thats when he showed me the Oleaje one!

Sigh. i think it was love at first sight.
