My bf asked me to pick out a setting for my ering and I have narrowed it down to the following one from James Allen. http://www.jamesallen.com/engagement-rings/solitaire/14k-white-gold-six-prong-twist-solitaire-engagement-ring-item-50116

I love the way the shank twists to form the prongs! The only thing I'm worried about is the size of the prongs, specifically the tips, and the way they look when looking at the face of the stone seems somewhat bulbous to me. I was wondering if I'm just imagining it, (I don't have much experience with this stuff) and if you would mind having a look and letting me know what you think? Also, has anyone had any experience in having James Allen modify a design, such as pointing the tips on a ring such as this one?
Thanks, Kate
